Camilo & Carlos are out of prison!

Today (April 29), two more compañeros have left the prison in exchange for being under house arrest. Camilo Perez and Carlos Riveros, join Rodolfo Retamales, Pablo Morales and Vinicio Aguilar, on having been granted release from prison this week.

However, although Carlos and Camilo were released, Francisco Solar and Felipe Guerra, were not granted release and so they shall remain in prison. Undoubtedly bad news for those who hoped to see them soon on the streets. Especially now that they are staying alone in their cells and recovering from their long hunger strike that ended this past week.

For Omar, Felipe, Francisco, Monica, Andrea and the compañeros on house arrest, all our strength!

El día sábado 30 de Abril, el compañero se estará enlazando vía telefónica al Congreso Anarquista, para agradecer la solidaridad.

Mexico: compañero Abraham Ramírez Vázquez released from prison after 6 years without trial
Compañeros and compañeras, with our hearts overflowing with much enthusiasm and joy we wish to communicate to you briefly that our compañero Abraham Ramírez Vásquez has been released into freedom. After 6 years and three months of being jailed, today we can say that it was not the State that freed him, it was the people and all the individuals and national and international organizations that with their solidarity achieved Abraham’s freedom.
Saturday April 30th, the compañero will be linked by telephone to the Anarchist Congress to acknowledge the solidarity.

Manifestación en conmemoración por la compañera Patricia Heras

Los golpes duelen menos que la triste noticia de la muerte de Patri, presa por el montaje del 4F que se quitaba la vida el pasado 22 de abril.

Y es que golpes no faltaron en la concentración que tenía lugar el 28 de abril en Zaragoza, de recuerdo a la compañera fallecida, de expresión de rabia, que desencadenó una absurda violencia por parte de la Policía Nacional, que llegó a cargar en dos ocasiones, provocando heridas a varias personas.

La concentración daba comienzo a las 19hs con aproximadamente 200 personas que fueron aumentando en número hasta 300. En un principio en silencio, luego con gritos de rabia como "Patricia está muerta la habéis asesinado", o de recuerdo a Rodrigo Lanza, preso en Barcelona, como Alex y Juan, que aún siguen en prisión tras cinco turbulentos años de procesos, acusaciones amañadas y denuncias por torturas y malos tratos.

En un primer momento los asistentes fueron adelantando su posición desde las escaleras donde suelen celebrarse las concentraciones en Pza España hasta el mismo borde de la acera, para, a posteriori, intentar convertirse en manifestación.

Cuando apenas se habían avanzado unos metros cortando el tráfico en la plaza y Pº Independencia se produjo una primera embestida policial que terminó con personas rodando por los suelos y golpes contundentes a varios manifestantes.

Las dos pancartas que acompañaban la movilización fueron arrebatadas por la policía, sin que hasta el momento se haya sabido nada de las mismas.

Tras la primera carga los asistentes, lejos de arredrarse, arreciaron en sus gritos contra la policía y de recuerdo a Patricia, arrinconados entre la acera y un cordón de antidisturbios, que llegó a sumar los 35 efectivos y hasta cinco furgones en la misma plaza, tras acudir más refuerzos y vestir el vestuario antidisturbios al completo, con cascos y porra en mano.

En ese momento se produjo una nueva carga, también absolutamente gratuita, en la que nuevamente se produjeron golpes, intercambio de insultos y siguieron los gritos de apoyo a Rodri y Patricia. Pese a ello no consiguieron disolver al grupo, que continuó gritando y, tras un nuevo reagrupamiento, salió en manifestación, aunque sin pancartas, cortando varias calles estrechas por el centro de la ciudad hasta llegar al Barrio de la Madalena, escoltados en todo momento por varios furgones de antidisturbios, que llegaron a introducirse en varias calles en dirección contraria.

La mani terminó en la Pza de la Madalena, con la lectura del comunicado y un minuto de silencio de recuerdo a Patricia.

Durante largo rato hubo presencia policial en el barrio madaleniense aunque no se registraron detenciones ni identificaciones que se sepa.

Poland: Action in solidarity with all anarchist prisoners especially in Greece and Chile

LUBLIN, POLAND

“It doesn’t matter that you ever reach the skyes.
The most important is that you never should stop dreaming about it.”

At night, 27.04, we carry out a small symbolic action of solidarity using paint bombs. We attacked the bank which is placed about 100 meters from police station. Through this action we want to express our Solidarity and respect to each anarchist political prisoner, especially in Greece and Chile. Those who hold heavy consequences of their own political choices with pride and honour and do not bend under prison repression. Those who probably suffer painful tension between their family life and way of rebellion which they decided to follow.

We also took this action to celebrate May Day, instead of powerless manifestations of our own weakness by marching in small groups of activists on Polish streets that day.

We refuse the realities of life in this country, where the gloomy patriotic-Catholic tradition teaches people to see enemies in another, neighboring nation instead of in the capitalist elites who rule everyday life. We don’t bother about catastrophe in Smolensk and the hysteria of masses who despair that they lost their lords.

Unemployment or work, which makes you unhappy – or even worse: you feel happy when you can pay rent, bills and food. Work-emigration of thousands young people who are forced to look for a way to survive, lack of money in the public sector and at the same moment government transfers money to the Polish Army which occupies the arab world (Iraq, Afghanistan) – this is really fucking catastrophe and misery of this system – the colorful, empty bubble. The existential emptiness, lack of generational identity and lack of life purpose are suppressed by alcohol, drugs, television celebrities and thoughtless fun.

We are opposed to the Wojtyla pope (so-called “John Poul II”) beatification which will take place on May 1st. This is attempt to steal this important date. Wojtyla, this guy with golden rings, helped to destroy revolutionary movement of liberation theology and he was doing this alongside of Latin American regimes. He was also silent on church pedophilia, blocked the reforms within catholic church and was a political friend of working class enemies like Reagan and Thatcher.

We wish more courage to the comrades who have a policeman inside their heads, which does not allow them to take radical actions, even when those do not mean serious risk.

We send greetings to our comrades from Silesia in Poland, who as a first in this country made a small Solidarity action with the Cells of Fire prisoners.

New City Hall in Olympia Sabotaged

Sometime yesterday we entered the new city hall in Olympia Washington and damaged the plumbing in both the male and females bathroom with quickset cement. This action comes on the heels of May Day. A day where anarchists should be remembering the fight of all those who came before them, and we think this remembrance should come in the form of a continuation of the struggle. We must never forget all those who the state has stolen from us, and we must continue our attacks. We do these attacks because we are anarchists and we desire the immediate destruction of both the state and capital.
