Fuck the bosses and their projects of destruction

You are here tonight to enjoy a gig, which is going to be great. But it’s not just a gig!

The reason why five bands are playing tonight is to express solidarity with a struggle going on in Italy for more than twenty years, the struggle in the Susa valley (northern Italy) known as NO TAV.

What is TAV?

TAV is the high speed railway, a project that means destruction of the ecosystem, transformation of natural landscapes into horrible travelling routes for businessmen and rich people, and expropriation of land.

Various Italian governments have been trying to implement this project for years, putting at risk one of the most beautiful mountain areas of the country.

The plan for the construction of a high speed railway track linking Turin (in Italy) to Lyon (in France) will irreversibly destroy the valley causing not only environmental disaster but also the disappearance of villages and traditional ways of life. And for what? For the creation of a colossal work that will only benefit the profits of the many companies involved in the project, as the new high speed railway line can only serve the interests of the very rich. Nobody else would ever use these useless and expansive trains.   

The people of the Susa valley have been opposing this project of death since the early 1990s: construction yards have been occupied on a great number of occasions in spite of the brutal police repression unleashed by the governments in charge with violent clashes and mass arrests. Actions of sabotage have also been numerous and constant throughout all these years, and at times they have caused huge disruptions on the ‘normality’ of the capitalist system of production.

Following a day of resistance against the occupation troops of the government in the Susa Valley that took place in July last year, on January 2012 dozens of people were arrested, seven of whom are still being held. This gig is for them: practical support is very much needed and can bring some relief to the imprisoned comrades. But what all of us ought to do everywhere is to attack the structures of power, each in his or her way.

The struggle in the Susa valley hits at the core of the interests of the powerful because it is a mass struggle, a struggle from below, a struggle that expresses itself with attacks, practices of self-management and total disregard for political parties and institutions.

In questo periodo sono successe tante cose negative, che però, nella loro negatività mi han fatto riflettere molto e cambiare il mio pensiero, vedere le cose da un'altra prospettiva, sotto molti altri aspetti che prima non vedevo per il fatto di aver interiorizzato certi meccanismi di merda. Con questo non voglio dire che adesso penso di essermene liberato, tutto il contrario, però spero che questa riflessione mi aiuti a rompere alcuni di questi schemi e soprattutto a provare a mettere in pratica qualcosa di diverso o per lo meno ad essere consapevole della loro esistenza.
Mi riferisco a meccanismi che si creano tanto interiormente quanto tra persone e gruppi (tra cui le stesse assemblee libertarie), modi che rispecchiano esattamente tutto quello che odio e contro i quali cerco di lottare. Addirittura pregiudizi che arrivano, a volte, a trasformarsi in forme di autorità, che sono talmente interiorizzate da far parte di noi.
Come posso volere la distruzione di questo vecchio mondo con le sue forme di autorità, stato, scuola, famiglia, quando perfino dentro di me hanno spazio le sue logiche repressive?
E' facile dire: “Facciamo contemporaneamente tutte e due le cose, lottiamo per distruggere lo stato e allo stesso tempo cambiamo noi stessi”, però la domanda che mi faccio è: Quando ci incontriamo discutiamo e organizziamo lotte solo verso e contro l'esterno, prepariamo grandi lotte e grandi rivoluzioni e dimentichiamo una prima fase, quella del cambiamento interiore, pensando che noi siamo liberi da certe
dinamiche e quindi senza mai affrontarle con le persone con le quali ci troviamo?
In questo modo non stiamo forse utilizzando una base che già nel suo seno contiene una parte di questa marcia società?
Come possiamo dire che ci sono cose personali e altre politiche quando in noi abbiamo inculcate delle forme politiche, sociali e personali (forme di relazionarci uomini e donne, con amici e con i nostri amanti, con il sesso...) di questa società repressiva?
Come cambiare i nostri comportamenti, il nostro stesso modo d'essere?
Come possiamo separare nettamente i nostri sentimenti da quelli che riproduciamo, da quelli che disprezziamo, quando ci organizziamo per cercare di distruggere questo mondo di merda?
E un'altra domanda più importante:
Come pensiamo di relazionarci con le persone con le quali ci battiamo senza riprodurre quei meccanismi se già con le persone che più amiamo li riproduciamo allo stesso modo o potrei dire addirittura in maniera più accentuata?
Come posso organizzarmi con persone che di questo aspetto non vogliono parlare o non gli interessa farlo perché credono che non siano cose che hanno a che fare con la distruzione del presente o con la supposta rivoluzione sociale?
Già solo in piccoli gruppi ci ritroviamo in dinamiche in cui sono presenti pregiudizi, specializzazioni e perfino forme di autorità, quando i numeri aumentano non si moltiplicano di conseguenza anch'essi?
Penso che dentro di noi ci saranno sempre queste forme di pregiudizi e se non stiamo sempre allerta e non abbiamo una certa sensibilità (e molti di noi non ce l'hanno) ci trasformiamo in militanti altre volte ragioniamo da politici, altre volte come marito e moglie etc. è quello che ho visto succedere a me (a volte perché me lo hanno fatto notare, altre volte non me ne accorgo nemmeno) e a molti altri. Spesso non siamo coscienti di riprodurre la stessa società che vogliamo distruggere, di conseguenza essa si riflette all'esterno con le sue dinamiche che sfociano molte volte in forme autoritarie, ogni società qualsiasi essa sia, è e sarà sempre autoritaria se noi non ci accorgiamo delle forme di dominio che attuiamo.
Tutte queste riflessioni mi hanno portato a capire, per adesso, che una concezione allargata di forme organizzative senza cadere nei soliti meccanismi è impossibile senza prima provare a cambiare la mia maniera di relazionarmi con le persone che scelgo io.
Ci portiamo dentro, nel nostro essere, una società così radicata, così inculcata che arriva fino al più profondo dell'abisso dei nostri più intimi sentimenti e dei nostri più incoscienti istinti, è per questo che quando proviamo a distruggerla è così doloroso, perché stiamo distruggendo una parte di noi stessi e ci rifiutiamo di credere che dentro di noi possa esserci quel seme che ha messo radici ed è cresciuto molto ben irrigato, per il quale nutri un immenso odio. in certi aspetti è più facile parlare e condurre le lotte verso l’esterno che mettere a nudo i nostri difetti e le nostre brutture.
Per tutto questo sono arrivato alla conclusione che la mia lotta è una lotta individuale e permanente, che deve stare sempre attenta a queste forme interiori continuando a cercare di distruggere prima i nostri pregiudizi, non dimenticando che questa lotta è infinita e che quando pensiamo di aver distrutto le forme autoritarie e ci crediamo liberi è quando queste sfuggono alla nostra attenzione (le riproduciamo) ci pensiamo angeli della libertà fino a quando con il sole non ci bruciamo le ali di quella libertà e come Icaro cadiamo al suolo, sperando che al momento della caduta ci sveglieremo dal sonno dell'onnipotenza.
Per questo cerco di tener viva dentro di me una ribellione personale e intima e che sia il meno politica possibile e giorno per giorno, come la fenice che brucia e muore per rinascere dalle sue ceneri, stando attento che non si cementifichi e che la passione per l'amore e la ribellione mi accompagni fino a che la morte non mi venga a cercare.

Sogni che non si possono rinchiudere (Marzo 2007)in solidarietà con Juan

Le stanno provando tutte.

A fine febbraio il nostro amico e compagno Juan è stato estradato in Italia dalla Spagna. Già al suo arrivo nell’aeroporto della Malpensa ha trovato ad aspettarlo alcuni funzionari della Digos e del Ros dei carabinieri di Trento. Dopo qualche mezza frase, così tipica del mondo mafioso, gli hanno proposto di collaborare con loro in cambio della scarcerazione o di qualche beneficio. Juan li ha mandati a fare in culo senza nemmeno aspettare che terminassero la loro infame proposta.

Evidentemente i funzionari dello Stato pensano che tutti siano disposti a vendere la propria dignità e i propri compagni per uscire dal carcere. Ma stavolta sono cascati male.

Queste losche manovre – ripetutesi più volte negli ultimi anni – rivelano le grandi difficoltà in cui si dibattono i difensori del potere. Non sono bastati arresti, fogli di via e, da ultimo, la sorveglianza speciale applicata ad un nostro compagno, per liquidare le lotte a Rovereto e dintorni. Non sono bastate le microspie collocate in ogni dove. Non è bastato arrestare Juan con l’accusa di “associazione sovversiva con finalità di terrorismo”. Non è bastato arrestare una compagna spagnola (Nuri) con l’accusa di “banda armata” per aver espresso solidarietà a Juan. Le mire del PM trentino Paolo Storari sono ben più ampie. Vorrebbe, questo Pubblico Mercenario della repressione, fare piazza pulita del dissenso non addomesticabile, soprattutto ora che alcune lotte (ad esempio contro l’inceneritore di Trento e contro il TAV del Brennero) stanno facendo incontrare persone molte diverse fra loro, non più disposte a lasciarsi avvelenare per i profitti di pochi e non più rassegnate a delegare la difesa della propria vita e del proprio territorio a istituzioni e partiti. L’ambizioso PM sa che non ha uno straccio di prova per le sue fantasiose associazioni, quindi è alla disperata ricerca di collaboratori.

Per questo tenta in ogni modo di spezzare i legami affettivi, di isolare e di ricattare chi si trova nelle sue grinfie. Così, dopo aver passato tre giorni costantemente ammanettato, Juan è stato portato nel carcere di Opera e di qui trasferito nella sezione ad Elevato Indice di Vigilanza (E.I.V) del carcere di Teramo, in isolamento sia in cella che durante l’aria, sottoposto a continue provocazioni.

Ma certi legami non si possono spiegare né spezzare. Chi si batte per cambiare questo mondo di cemento industriale e affettivo trova le proprie complicità in uno strano universo, fatto di lotte presenti e di storie che vengono da lontano, di amici fraterni con cui sognare e di sconosciuti per cui continuare ad insorgere, di urla di amore e di rabbia che oltrepassano le mura e le sbarre, di barricate a cui unirsi durante la rivolta che verrà.

Tutto ciò si chiama solidarietà, una parola sconosciuta per chi compra e vende negli uffici di un aeroporto e nei sottoscala di un tribunale.

I feel I must write to you, AUT AUT, I don’t want to write hypocrisies or lies.

I’m of the opinion that solidarity can be accepted or refused, most importantly it must have a minimum of coherence from my point of view.

You see, you don’t know that I lived in Zena for almost four years, up to my arrest not long ago (six months) for theft and for the clashes in the valley.

I say all this to point out that your political line, which I had the chance to know when I lived in Genoa, looked aberrant to me and contrary to my principles. This time, maybe, you don’t want to make distinctions between ‘good’ and ‘bad’, ‘innocent’ and ‘guilty’, but on other occasions you made distinctions, you did made them! Sometimes you even did this to friends of mine!

I don’t like such a line, it seems a politicians’ line to me, I hate it and also fight against it.

I’m not going to make a list, you know and my friends and comrades also know, that’s enough. I just want to tell you simply and without hypocrisy that you are not my comrades.

According to my modest opinion comrades choose one another!
Solidarity must be accepted if there is complicity and sincerity, and this is not the case, it seems to me. I don’t want to open a discussion with you, I simply want you not to mention my name under no circumstances. Careful.

Hi Juan,

this letter is being sent to you from Genoa, from all the comrades.

We feel the urge to write to you to tell you that what happened to you and all the arrested comrades only strengthens our determination to continue this struggle even more, this just and beautiful struggle.

The repression we are experiencing only increases our awareness that we are united and close to one another, as proved by the initiatives and messages that are jumping from an area of Italy to another. We know that you know you are not alone and we want to tell you this with this letter too.

Certainly the movement is going through a hard time, but also a formative and aggregating one: what we are doing in the piazzas all over Italy, it’s for you, for ourselves, for the Val Susa.

Let’s continue our stuggle comrades, soon you’ll be back to the streets of the cities and the mountain passes, all of us together.

Alessio’s response to the solidarity communique from Ska and Officina

With regard to the communique of Ska and Officina 99 I want to make clear a number of points. Just a few lines, very easy to understand if they are read carefully, I’ll never come back to this specific subject, unless I’m forced to do so by another disgusting communique like this one.

Words and especially written words have a weight, so it’s good to take this into account when you talk about other individuals, especially if these individuals are in prison.

In your communique you describe me as a comrade who is committed against this fascist system, for environmental struggles, against ‘precariato’ [temporary employement] and in the defence of the territory.

I remind you that I’m anarchist. I don’t get involved in the struggle as if it was a Sunday’s hobby, every day I look for points of attack and use these to hit the current political and economic system. As an anti-authoritarian I hate whatever system of power, be it dictatorial or democratic, fascist, communist or liberal. I struggle against the state and capital.

It is precisely beause I consider the state as the watchdog of the bosses’ property that I clashed with its armed troops many times.

Certainly it is not becuase of environmental desires that I struggled against the opening of new dumps or the construction of the TAV. I simply brought my methods and ideas on how to oppose power to those struggles. It is because I consider solidairty as a weapon and I know how to use it. Moreover you dare link my actions to the struggles against ‘precariato’ [temporary employement].

Nothing is more false than all this.

I’m for the total destruction of property, I think that the blackmail of wage labour, whatever form it takes, is a cancer that turned the individuals into acquiescent beings, who have bowed to all the bosses’ filthy tricks for more than thirty years.

This surrogated of life in which we expolited are floundering day by day is based on the production of goods and services. And workers are also responsible for all this. No matter if they are in temporary jobs or in full-time occupations.

As for the defence of the territory do not misunderstand it.

I intervene in these kinds of situations because I’m aware that the arrogane of power manifests itself everywhere.

So I oppose it everywhere, between the walls of a prison as well as in the streets. It is necessry to struggle everywhere so that social conflict flares up more and more, without any sort of compromise with the institutions.

Precisely referring to this last sentence I throughly invite you not to dare declare yourselves my accomplices, not even vaguely.

I’m an accomplice of those individuals who do not have any protection when they assault power, if not the practice of their ideas, the respect for their word and the lack of political calculations, without any negotation with the state and its institutions.

I finish it off by telling you a last thing: when you say you are expressing militant solidarity with all those who are dealing with the armed hand of the state, do you know that in prison there are also entire units full of informants, pieces of shit of all sorts and the few fascists who are in jail?

Think it over very well: as an anarchist I’m for the total distruction of the entire prison system. I wouldn’t wish prison even to a piece of shit but I certainly wouldn’t give him my solidarity.
As I said at the beginning, words and written words have a weigth, it’s the case to ponder it very well.

Ιταλία: Γράμμα του Χουάν Σορρότσε Φερνάντες από τη φυλακή του Τρέντο

Γεια χαρά! Είμαι ο Χουάν Σορρότσε Φερνάντες και γράφω αυτή την ανάληψη ευθύνης προκειμένου ν’ αποσαφηνίσω τη θέση μου.

Η υπερταχεία TAV στη Βαλ ντι Σούζα είναι ένα απ’ τα πολλά σχέδια που το κράτος και η κοινωνία ρίχνουν σε εφαρμογή, όπως και οι αποτεφρωτήρες απορριμμάτων, οι εγκαταστάσεις διάθεσης επικίνδυνων αποβλήτων στη Νάπολη, το έργο Gronda της Γένοβας (που ’ναι αναπτυξιακό σχέδιο κατασκευής οδικών κόμβων), η ανέγερση νέων φυλακών, η στρατιωτικοποίηση των χωροθεσιών που προορίζονται για τα Μεγάλα Έργα και η μιλιταροποίηση των δρόμων στην πόλη.

Και μόνο η καταστροφή της γης και η επακόλουθη μόλυνση θ’ αρκούσαν για ν’ αντιταχτεί κανείς σε αυτά τα σχέδια, πέραν όμως της καταστροφής του περιβάλλοντος, τα πλοκάμια του κράτους και της κυριαρχίας πνίγουν τα άτομα μέσα σ’ ένα σύστημα όλο και πιο ελεγχόμενο, εμπορευματοποιημένο και μηχανοκρατούμενο.

Η υλοποίηση των σχεδίων αυτών, εκτός από τη μοιραία φθορά που επιφέρει, τόσο σωματικά όσο και πνευματικά, αποσκοπεί στο να συνηθίσουν τ’ άτομα να υποφέρουν, να δεχτούν οτιδήποτε, αποκηρύσσοντας την κριτική τους σκέψη και δράση. Όσοι προωθούν τέτοιους σχεδιασμούς στήνουν τεράστιες εκστρατείες εξαπάτησης, όπου (και) η δική μας πραγματικότητα, το παρόν μας και το μέλλον αναπαράγονται με μία εξολοκλήρου στρεβλή εκδοχή, με τέτοιον τρόπο ώστε να μας φαίνεται ολοένα πιο φυσικό ν’ απαρνηθούμε τη λευτεριά και τη δυνατότητα της αυτοδιάθεσης.

Η εκμετάλλευση, η καταστροφή κι ο θάνατος είναι σταθερές οικοδομημένες με αίμα και βάσανα, με τα οποία αυτοτροφοδοτείται η κοινωνία. Αυτοί είναι οι πυλώνες που στηρίζουν την κοινωνία, κι είναι επιτακτικό να τους πολεμήσουμε. Για μένα, ο αγώνας ενάντια σ’ αυτά τα πλοκάμια είναι αγώνας ενάντια στην κοινωνία που τα παράγει.

Ως εξεγερμένος ατομικιστής, δε μιλώ εξ ονόματος οποιουδήποτε κινήματος αλλά μονάχα για λογαριασμό μου. Εγώ ο ίδιος νιώθω κομμάτι του αγώνα, ανάμεσα σ’ όλους εκείνους που διεξάγουν το δικό τους αγώνα με ειλικρίνεια.

Γι’ αυτόν το λόγο, με το κεφάλι ψηλά, αναλαμβάνω την ευθύνη συμμετοχής μου στον αγώνα ενάντια στην υπερταχεία TAV και ενάντια στην κοινωνία με τρόπο αυτοοργανωμένο, έξω από τη λογική του κράτους κι οποιασδήποτε ιεραρχίας, και με μεθόδους που έκρινα σκόπιμες.

«Ένοχοι ή αθώοι», «καλοί ή κακοί», «βίαιοι ή μη βίαιοι» είναι ηθικοί ορισμοί που μου είναι ξένοι, είναι έννοιες της κυριαρχίας και «των κοινωνικών σχέσεων που τις καθιστούν αποδεκτές ως σύμβολο της εξουσίας. Γιατί θεωρώ πως η Αρχή δε βασίζεται μόνο στη βία και στα μηνύματα που υπαγορεύονται απ’ την κρατική τάξη, αλλά και στο συμβιβασμό και στη συναίνεση» με τέτοιου είδους σχέσεις.

Η δική μου βία είναι μια σταγόνα στον ωκεανό συγκριτικά με τη βία που ασκείται και μονοπωλείται απ’ το κράτος στην κοιλάδα Σούζα, στους «ειρηνευτικούς» πολέμους, στα κέντρα κράτησης μεταναστών (CIE) και στις φυλακές, προκαλώντας εκατομμύρια θανάτους. Τίποτε όμως δε διαρκεί για πάντα, μερικές φορές τα πράγματα ανατρέπονται.

Δεν είμαι κάνας ειδήμων της βίας. Πιστεύω πως μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως μέσο ή ως μέθοδος, αλλά δεν είναι η μόνη, υπάρχουν πολλές άλλες, κι όλες τους είναι έγκυρες: το φυλλάδιο, η άμεση δράση, οι εκδόσεις, η απαλλοτρίωση, η συναυλία… είναι στο χέρι του καθενός και της καθεμιάς ν’ αποφασίζει ατομικά αλλά και συλλογικά πώς, γιατί και πότε να τις συνδυάζει.

Σε αυτούς που στάθηκαν αλληλέγγυοι χωρίς να κάνουν διακρίσεις μεταξύ «καλών και κακών»… μια στοργική αγκαλιά· θ’ ανταμώσουμε στους δίχως τέλος δρόμους του αγώνα.

Σ’ εκείνους που δεν κατέχουν αυτή την πρακτική, αυτόν τον τρόπο συνέργειας, στέλνω όλη μου την περιφρόνηση και όλο μου το μίσος! Γιατί «ο δρόμος της ελευθερίας και της αξιοπρέπειας είναι πάντοτε ατομικός, και δε σχετίζεται με στερεότυπα και ταμπέλες».

Ψηλά το κεφάλι! Για τη μόνιμη ανταρσία!

In merito a certa solidarietà, pubblichiamo alcune riflessioni di Juan e Alessio, prigionieri anarchici attualmente incarcerati per l'operazione repressiva del 26 gennaio contro la resistenza No Tav

Sento che è necessario scrivervi come AUT AUT, non voglio scrivere ipocrisie o menzogne.

Sono del parere che la solidarietà può essere accettata o meno e soprattutto deve avere un minimo di coerenza dal mio punto di vista.

Vedete, non sapete che io ho abitato a Zena per quasi quattro anni, fino al mio arresto, poco fa (sei mesi) per un furto e per gli scontri in valle.

Tutto questo per dirvi che la vostra linea politica, che ho avuto modo di conoscere abitando a Genova, mi è sembrata aberrante e contraria ai miei principi. Magari in questa occasione voi non volevate fare distinzioni fra “buoni” e “cattivi”, “innocenti”o “colpevoli” ma in altre occasioni le distinzioni le avete fatte e come! A volte pure con amici miei!

A me non piace una linea portata vanti così, mi sembra da politicanti, la detesto e non solo ci lotto contro.

Non starò a fare nessun elenco, voi sapete e lo sanno pure i miei amici e compagni, questo è sufficiente. Voglio dirvi semplicemente e senza ipocrisia che voi non siete compagni miei.

I compagni secondo il mio modesto parere si scelgono a vicenda!

Ciao Juan,

questa lettera ti arriva da Genova dalle compagne e dai compagni tutti.

Sentiamo che è necessario scriverti, per dirti che sentiamo che è necessario scriverti per dirti che ciò che sta succedendo a te e a tutti i compagni arrestati non fa che rafforzare ancora più la nostra determinazione nel portare avanti questa lotta, giusta e bella.

La repressione che stiamo vivendo non fa che accrescere la consapevolezza di essere uniti e compatti, lo dimostrano le iniziative e i messaggi che rimbalzano da una parte all’altra d’Italia. Sappiamo che siete consci di non essere soli e vogliamo dirvelo anche con questa lettera.

Il movimento sta attraversando un momento sicuramente duro, allo stesso tempo formativo e aggregante: quello che stiamo facendo nelle piazze di tutta Italia lo stiamo facendo per voi, per noi stessi, per la Val Susa.

Continuiamo la nostra lotta compagni, molto presto tornerete con noi nelle strade delle città, sui sentieri, delle montagne, tutti assieme.

Risposta di Alessio in merito al comunicato di solidarietà di Ska e Officina

In merito al comunicato di solidarietà dello ska e di officina 99 ho da fare alcune precisazioni. Solo poche righe, molto facili da capire se lette con attenzione, non tornerò più su questo specifico argomento, a meno che non venga costretto da un altro ributtante comunicato come questo.

Le parole e soprattutto gli scritti hanno sempre un peso, è bene quindi, tenere conto quando si accenna ad altri individui, soprattutto quando gli stessi in questione sono in carcere.

Nel vostro comunicato mi tacciate come un compagno che si impegna contro questo sistema fascista, nelle lotte ambientali, contro la precarietà e nella difesa del territorio.

Vi ricordo che sono anarchico. Io non mi impegno nella lotta come se fosse un passatempo della domenica, quotidianamente io cerco angoli di attacco e gli utilizzo per colpire il sistema politico economico vigente. In quanto antiautoritario odio qualsiasi sistema di potere sia esso dittatoriale o democratico, fascista o comunista o liberale. Io combatto contro lo stato ed il capitale.

E’ proprio perché considero lo stato come il cane da guardia della proprietà dei padroni che mi sono scontrato ripetutamente con le sue truppe armate.

Non è certo per velleità ambientaliste che mi sono battuto contro l’apertura di nuove discariche o la costruzione della TAV. Semplicemente in quelle lotte ho apportato i miei metodi e le mie idee per contrastare il potere. E’ perché considero la solidarietà un’arma e so bene come usarla. In più vi permettete di accostare il mio agire alle lotte contro la precarietà.

Non c’è niente di più falso in tutto ciò.

Sono per la distruzione completa della proprietà, considero il ricatto del lavoro salariato, in qualunque forma si manifesti, come un cancro che ha reso gli individui esseri acquiescenti che si sono piegati per trenta e passa anni a qualunque porcata padronale.

Questo surrogato di vita in cui noi sfruttati quotidianamente annaspiamo, si basa sulla produzione di merce e servizi. E di tutto questo sono responsabili anche i lavoratori. Precari o a tempo indeterminato che siano.

Sulla difesa del territorio non equivocate.

Intervengo in situazioni di questo tipo perché sono consapevole che l’arroganza del potere si manifesta ovunque.

Ed è dappertutto quindi che la contrasto, che sia tra le mura di un carcere così come nelle strade. Dappertutto è necessario battersi per far si che il conflitto sociale avvampi sempre più, senza nessuna sorta di mediazione con le istituzioni.

Proprio prendendo in considerazione quest’ultima frase vi invito caldamente a non permettervi più, neanche lontanamente, a dichiararvi miei complici.

Sono complice di quegli individui che durante gli assalti contro il potere non dispongono di nessuna protezione se non la pratica delle proprie idee, il rispetto della parola data e la mancanza di calcoli politici, senza nessuna mediazione con lo stato e le sue istituzioni.

Concludo facendovi presente un’ultima cosa: quando dite di esprimere solidarietà militante nei confronti di tutti coloro che stanno facendo i conti con il braccio armato dello stato, avete in mente che in carcere esistono sezioni intere riempite di infami, pezzi di merda di varia natura e quei pochi fascisti al gabbio?

Riflettete bene su questo: in quanto anarchico sono per la distruzione totale di tutto il sistema carcerario. Non augurerei il carcere neanche ad un infame, mi guarderei però da accordargli la mia solidarietà.

Come dicevo in apertura di testo, le parole come gli scritti hanno un peso, conviene ponderarlo bene.

Salut Juan,

Cette lettre t’arrive de Gênes de la part de tous les camarades.

Nous sentons qu’il est nécessaire de t’écrire, pour te dire que nous sentons que ce qui t’arrive, à toi et à tous les camarades arrêtés, ne fait que renforcer encore plus notre détermination à porter en avant cette lutte, juste et belle.

La répression que nous vivons ne fait qu’accroître la conscience d’être unis et compacts, comme le démontrent les initiatives et les messages qui se propagent d’une partie à l’autre de l’Italie. Nous savons que vous êtes conscients de ne pas être seuls et nous voulons vous le dire aussi par cette lettre.

Assurément, le mouvement traverse un dur passage, et dans le même temps formateur et unifiant : ce que nous faisons sur les places de toute l’Italie nous le faisons pour vous, pour nous-mêmes, pour le Val Susa.

Je sens qu’il est nécessaire que je vous écrive en tant qu’AutAut, je ne veux pas écrire d’hypocrisie ou de mensonges.

Je suis d’avis que la solidarité peut être plus ou moins acceptée et surtout qu’elle doit avoir un minimum de cohérence de mon point de vue.

Vous voyez, vous ne savez pas que j’ai habité à Zena (Gênes) pendant presque quatre ans, jusqu’à mon arrestation il y a peu (six mois) pour un vol et pour des affrontements dans la vallée.

Tout cela pour vous dire que votre ligne politique, que j’ai eu l’occasion de connaitre en habitant à Gênes, m’a paru aberrante et contraire à mes principes.

Sans doute vous ne voulez pas, à cette occasion, faire de distinctions entre les “bons” et les “méchants”, les “innocents” et les “coupables”, mais en d’autres occasions ces distinctions vous les avez faites, et comment ! Qui plus est avec des personnes qui sont mes amis !

Une ligne politique ainsi mise en avant ne me plait pas, elle me semble venir de politicards, je la déteste, et pas seulement, je lutte contre elle.

Je ne vais faire aucune liste, vous le savez et mes amis et compagnons le savent aussi, cela est suffisant. Je veux vous dire simplement et sans hypocrisie que vous n’êtes pas mes compagnons.

Les compagnons, à mon humble avis, se choisissent réciproquement !

La solidarité est une pratique qui est acceptée s’il y a de la complicité et de la sincérité, et cela ne me semble justement pas le cas. Je ne veux pas ouvrir un débat avec vous, j’exige simplement que vous ne me nommiez même pas, sous aucun aspect.

Hola! I’m Juan Sorroche Fernandez and I’m writing this communiqué to clarify my position.

The TAV in Val Susa is one of the many projects that the State and society are getting going, like incinerators, the waste disposal emergency in Naples, the Gronda in Genoa (concerning the development of road junctions), construction of new prisons, militarization of the sites where Great Works are being implemented and the militarization of cities. The destruction of the earth and the consequent pollution alone would be sufficient to want to oppose these projects, but besides causing environmental devastation the State and dominion are crushing the individuals in a more and more mechanized system of control, a system based on production and circulation of goods. The implementation of these projects not only brings about fatal harmfulness, both physical and psychological, but it also aims at getting the individuals accustomed to suffer and accept anything while renouncing their ability of critique and action. Those who put forward these projects are setting up huge campaigns of mystification, where our reality, present and future are presented in a completely false version. As a consequence, to renounce freedom and self-determination will increasingly appear natural to us.

Exploitation, destruction and death are strong points built on blood and suffering, with which society feeds itself. These are the pillars that hold society and it is imperative to fight against them. To me the struggle against these tentacles is also a struggle against the society that generates them.

As I’m an individualist rebel I don’t speak on behalf of any movement, but only on behalf of myself. I feel I’m part of the struggle along with all those who take on it sincerely.

For this reason, my head held high, I claim my participation to the struggle against the TAV and society, a self-organized struggle, extraneous to the logics of the State and hierarchies and with the methods I considered appropriate.

‘Guilty or not guilty’, ‘good and bad’, ‘violent or not violent’ are moral definitions that don’t belong to me. They are concepts belonging to dominion and social relations that make them acceptable as symbols of power. For I think that the authority relies not only on the use of force and the messages dictated by the order of the State but also on compromise and the acceptance of such relations.

My violence is a drop in the ocean if compared with the violence used and monopolized by the State against the Val Susa, in the wars of ‘peace’, in CIEs [detention immigration centres] and prisons causing millions of dead. But nothing lasts forever, sometimes things get overturned.

I’m not an expert in violence. I believe it can be used as a means or as a method but it’s not the only one, there are many others and all are valid: leaflets, direct action, publications, expropriations, gigs... it is up to everyone to decide, collectively or individually, how and when to mix them.

To those who showed solidarity without distinctions between ‘the good’ and ‘the bad’... a warm hug. See you in the endless streets of the struggle. To those who refuse this practices and kinds of relations I send all my contempt and hatred! For ‘the road to freedom and dignity is always individual and cannot be linked to stereotypes and labels.’

La TAV in Val Susa è uno dei tanti progetti che lo Stato e la società mettono in cantiere, come anche gli inceneritori, l’emergenza rifiuti a Napoli, la Gronda a Genova (progetto di potenziamento del nodo autostradale), le nuove carceri, la militarizzazione dei siti dove dovranno sorgere le Grandi Opere e la militarizzazione delle strade nelle città. Solo la distruzione della terra e l’inquinamento prodotto sarebbero già abbastanza per opporsi a tali progetti , ma oltre alla devastazione dell’ambiente la piovra del capitale e del dominio stritola gli individui in un sistema sempre più controllato, mercificato e meccanizzato. L’attuazione di questi progetti, oltre alla loro nocività mortale tanto fisica quanto mentale, mira ad abituare gli individui a subire, ad accettare qualunque cosa rinunciando alla propria capacità critica e di azione. Chi li propone mette in piedi enormi campagne di mistificazione nelle quali la (anche) nostra realtà, il nostro presente e futuro, ci vengono riproposti in una versione completamente sfalsata in modo che ci sembri sempre più naturale rinunciare alla libertà e alla possibilità di autodeterminarci.
Lo sfruttamento, la distruzione e la morte sono punti fermi, costruiti col sangue e la sofferenza, con i quali la società si auto alimenta. Questi sono i pilastri sui quali essa si regge ed è necessario combatterli. Lottare contro questi tentacoli è per me lottare contro la società che li crea.
Come ribelle individualista non parlo a nome di nessun movimento ma solo di me stesso.
Io mi sento parte della lotta e di tutti quelli che la fanno propria sinceramente.
Per questo, a testa alta, mi rivendico l’aver partecipato alla lotta contro il TAV e la società in modo auto organizzato, al di fuori delle logiche dello Stato, di qualsiasi gerarchia e con metodi che ho ritenuto opportuni .
Essere “colpevoli o innocenti”, “buoni o cattivi”, “violenti o non violenti”, sono definizioni morali che non mi appartengono, sono concetti del dominio e “ delle relazioni sociali che li rendono accettabili come simbolo del potere . Perché trovo che l’autorità non fa solo affidamento sulla forza e sui messaggi dettati dall’ordinamento statale ma anche sul compromesso e l’accettazione” di tali relazioni.
La mia violenza è una goccia in mezzo al mare in confronto a quella che lo Stato utilizza e monopolizza contro la Val Susa, nelle guerre di “pace”, nei CIE e nelle carceri, causando milioni di morti. Ma non tutto dura, a volte le cose si ribaltano.
Non sono uno specialista della violenza. Credo la si possa utilizzare come mezzo o metodo ma non è l’unico, ce ne sono molti altri e tutti validi: il volantino, l’azione diretta, le pubblicazioni, l’esproprio, il concerto … questo individualmente come collettivamente, decide ognuno come, perché e quando miscelarli.
A quelli che hanno solidarizzato sempre senza distinzioni fra “buoni e cattivi” … un affettuoso abbraccio, ci si vede nelle infinite strade della lotta.
A quelli che questa pratica, questo modo di relazione non lo fanno proprio, va tutto il mio disprezzo ed il mio odio! Perché “la strada della libertà e la dignità è sempre individuale e non si associa agli stereotipi e alle etichette” .

[Pour ne revenir que sur les derniers épisodes judiciaires de Juan, il a été arrêté à Turin le 29 août 2011 avec un autre compagnon, accusés d’avoir volé 70 litres d’essence dans un bâtiment de la société Anas, prés du Val Susa. Il passera de la prison de Turin en résidence surveillée début octobre. Le 10 novembre, il est à nouveau incarcéré pour effectuer un résidu de peine d’un mois et demi. A peine sorti de prison fin décembre, l’Etat le reprend lors des perquisitions du 26 janvier dernier, suite aux affrontements en Val Susa de l’été 2011. Actuellement, il est toujours en préventive à la prison Spini di Gardolo de Trento. Après l’expulsion de la baita de la Clarea et la chute de Luca Abbà le 27 février, il a témoigné de sa solidarité en faisant un refus de remonter en promenade. Le 2 mars, il a été sanctionné pour cela d’un rapport disciplinaire et d’une mise en examen pour « rébellion ».]

Salut ! Je me nomme Juan Sorroche Fernandez, et j’écris ce communiqué pour clarifier ma position.

Le TAV en Val Susa est un des nombreux projets que l’Etat et la société mettent en chantier, comme les incinérateurs, l’« urgence des déchets » à Naples, la Gronda à Gênes (projet d’amplification du noeud autoroutier), les nouvelles prisons, la militarisation des sites où surgiront les Grands Travaux et la militarisation des rues en ville. La destruction de la terre et l’empoisonnement générés seraient déjà suffisants pour s’opposer à de tels projets, mais en plus de la dévastation de l’environnement, la pieuvre du capital et de la domination broie les individus dans un système toujours plus contrôlé, marchandisé et mécanisé. La mise en route de ces projets, en plus d’une nocivité mortelle aussi bien physiquement que mentalement, vise à habituer les individus à subir, à tout accepter en renonçant à leur propre capacité critique et d’action. Ceux qui défendent ces projets mettent en oeuvre d’énormes campagnes de mystification lors desquelles notre réalité, notre présent et notre futur sont réinterprétés dans une version complètement falsifiée, afin qu’il nous semble toujours plus naturel de renoncer à la liberté et à la possibilité de s’auto-déterminer.

L’exploitation, la destruction et la mort sont des bases, faites de sang et de souffrance, dont la société s’auto-alimente. Ce sont les piliers sur lesquels elle s’érige, et qu’il est nécessaire de combattre. Lutter contre ces tentacules signifie pour moi lutter contre la société qui les crée. En tant que rebelle individualiste, je ne parle au nom d’aucun mouvement, mais uniquement en partant de moi-même. Je prend part à la lutte comme tous ceux qui se l’approprient sincèrement.

C’est pour cela que, la tête haute, je revendique avoir participé à la lutte contre le TAV et la société de manière auto-organisée, en-dehors des logiques de l’Etat, de toute hiérarchie, avec des méthodes que j’ai pensé opportunes.
Etre « coupables ou innocents », « bons ou méchants », « violents ou non-violents » sont des définitions morales qui ne m’appartiennent pas, ce sont des concepts de la domination et « des relations sociales qui les rendent acceptables comme symbole du pouvoir. Parce que je pense que l’autorité ne repose pas uniquement sur la force et les messages dictés par l’ordre étatique, mais également sur le compromis et l’acceptation » de telles relations.
Ma violence est une goutte d’eau dans l’océan face à celle que l’Etat utilise et monopolise contre le Val Susa, lors de guerres « pour la paix », dans les centres de rétention et les prisons, causant des millions de morts. Mais tout a une fin, et parfois les choses se renversent.
Je ne suis pas un spécialiste de la violence. Je pense qu’on peut l’utiliser comme moyen ou méthode, mais que ce n’est pas la seule, qu’il en existe d’autres tout aussi valables : le tract, l’action directe, les publications, l’expropriation, le concert... tout cela individuellement ou collectivement, à chacun de voir comment, pourquoi et quand les mélanger.

A ceux qui se sont toujours solidarisés sans distinctions entre « les bons et les méchants »... une chaleureuse accolade, on se retrouvera sur les chemins infinis de la lutte.
A ceux qui refusent cette pratique, cette manière de se lier les uns aux autres... qu’ils reçoivent tout mon mépris et ma haine ! Parce que « le chemin de la liberté et la dignité est toujours individuel et ne s’associe pas aux stéréotypes et aux étiquettes ».

Trento – Imprisoned comrade Juan protests in solidarity with Luca and the NO TAV struggle

On Monday 27th February our comrade Juan, arrested on 26th January and detained in the prison of Spini di Gardolo in Trento, heard of the eviction of Baita Clarea in Val Susa and of the serious condition of Luca. For this reason Juan decided to carry out a protest and refused to go back to the cell after the time in the exercise yard.
A prison officer ordered him to go back to the wing, Juan refused and said openly that he was protesting in solidarity to Luca Abba’, seriously injured in Val Susa in the struggle against the TAV. As 4 screws turned out, Juan was asked if he was aware of the consequences of his action. They also asked him why he was not doing a hunger strike instead... Juan answered that one chooses one’s own way to protest. Afterwards he was lifted bodily and taken back to the cell without further use of violence. Lunedì 27 febbraio - Juan, arrestato il 26 gennaio e detenuto nel carcere di Spini di Gardolo a Trento, avendo appreso dello sgombero della baita in Clarea e delle gravi condizioni di Luca ha deciso di fare una protesta individuale rifiutandosi di rientrare in cella dopo l'ora d'aria. L'ispettore gli ha intimato di tornare in sezione, Juan si è rifiutato nuovamente dicendo chiaramente che stava protestando in solidarietà a Luca Abbà ferito gravemente in val Susa nella lotta contro la TAV. All'arrivo di 4 secondini gli è stato chiesto se conosceva le conseguenze di quel gesto e il perché non faceva uno sciopero della fame... Lui ha risposto che ognuno protesta come vuole. Dopodiché scrive che è stato portato in cella di peso, tranquillamente. Il giorno dopo si doveva presentare dal comandante, ci saranno aggiornamenti su eventuali provvedimenti
