La firma anarchica è scritta con lo spray nero sul muretto del vicino sottopasso ferroviario. Il traliccio della Wind che si erge nelle campagne di Volano è stato incendiato nella notte. Nessun testimone, la zona è isolata e disabitata, tanto più nel cuore della notte. Il dolo è fuori discussione, si tratta solo di capire quale è il combustibile utilizzato per l'innesco.

Mexico: communique for the C.U. street blockade

Yesterday during the night of April 26, 2011, a group of 10 insurgents took to the streets once again to fight and vindicate ourselves, disrupting order and the social peace that the social democracy of Marcelo Ebrad imposes on us. Around 9pm, we erected burning barricades in the busy commercial avenue “Insurgentes Sur” at the height of the C.U. metrobus station. Within minutes, we burned tires, broke molotov cocktails and unfurled banners in solidarity with Compañero Abraham Ramírez and the compañer@s-prisoners in Chile for the “Bombs” case. Then we disappeared but not before causing traffic chaos; by bad luck on our part, the police-enemy was late in arriving, but if they had arrived we had the full intention to deal with them with bursts of fire.

This small but humble and sincere sabotage of the normality imposed by capital we claim in solidarity with compañero Abraham Ramírez who has been detained in the dungeons of the Oaxacan state for 6 years without trial, without follow-up and, worse still, subject to the decisions and external fights among some support groups who disgracefully have seen him as an instrument of competition. Is this the kind of fight that benefits the compañero? Abraham needs support and sincere solidarity of all of us who vindicate ourselves for a free world; manifestations, blocks, blankets, cultural events… all is necessary. Abraham is held prisoner for many reasons including fighting for the autonomy of his people and for fighting for the defense of ecosystems in the face of ecocidal attacks by hoteliers and capitalists who only seek to profit at the cost of the exploitation of nature and humble people.

Durante la noche de ayer 26 de Abril del presente 2011 un grupo de 10 insurrect@s salimos a las calles nuevamente para luchar y reivindicarnos trastornando el orden y la paz social que nos impone la social democracia de Marcelo Ebrad. Alrededor de las 9 de la noche levantamos barricadas incendiarias en la transitada y mercantil avenida “Insurgentes Sur” a la altura de la estación del metrobus C.U. En cuestión de minutos incendiamos llantas, reventamos cocteles molotov y relazamos pintadas en solidaridad con el Compañero Abraham Ramírez y l@s compas pres@s en Chile por el caso “Bombas”. Acto seguido desaparecimos no sin antes causar un caos vial; para nuestra mala surte el enemigo policial tardo en llegar, pero de haber llegado antes teníamos las plenas intenciones de encararle con ráfagas de fuego.

Este pequeño pero humilde y sincero sabotaje a la normalidad impuesta por el capital lo reivindicamos solidario con el compañero Abraham Ramírez quien se encuentra recluido en las mazmorras del estado oaxaqueño desde hace 6 años, sin juicio, sin seguimiento y peor aun sujeto a las decisiones y peleas externas entre algunos grupos de apoyo quienes desgraciadamente han visto en el un instrumento de competitividad. ¿Este tipo de peleas en que le beneficia al compañero? Abraham necesita del apoyo y de la solidaridad sincera de tod@s nosotr@s quienes nos reivindicamos por un mundo libre; concentraciones, bloqueos, mantas, actos culturales… todo es necesario. Abraham esta preso por muchas cosas entre ellas por luchar por la autonomía de su pueblo y por luchar para la defensa de los ecosistemas ante los embates ecocidas de hoteleros y capitalistas quienes solo buscan enriquecerse a costa de la explotación de la naturaleza y la gente humilde.

Nosotr@s Anarquistas Revolucionari@s no podemos dejarle solo en su lucha cotidiana contra el encierro y los abusos del poder a los que esta sometido, ya que desde que entro en la cárcel ha hecho muchas cosas por la comunidad que le rodea, creando comedores populares y cooperativos al interior de la prisión, manifestándose cada vez que se abusa o golpea a algún preso, resistiendo a los aislamientos, en fin causándole un dolor de cabeza a la sociedad carcelaria. Lo cual para nosotr@s resulta muy importante.

Así mismo nos manifestamos contra el asesinato del compañero Javier Torres Cruz por parte de paramilitares al servicio del cacique y narcotraficante Rogaciano Alba. Javier era un campesino ecologista de guerrero quien comúnmente estaba siendo acosado y amenazado por los sicarios. Javier formaba parte de la Organización Campesina Ecologista de la Sierra de Petatlán y Coyuca de Benítez (OCESP) Guerrero, quienes desde hace ya varios años se han dedicado a la defensa (aun con métodos radicales) de los bosques y ecosistemas de la cierra de Guerrero, igualmente frente a los embates de caciques y narcotraficantes respaldados por el gobierno guerrerense quienes con violencia toman los bosques, lo talan y construyen ganaderías, para después vender la madera a madereras canadienses y Norte Americanas.

Ya estamos hart@s de todos estos abusos del poder y no podemos seguir permitiéndolos solo luchando con métodos pasivos-pacifistas, es necesaria la expansión de la guerra social en todos los frentes ya que para nosotr@s la solidaridad también se traduce en el conflicto cotidiano contra las instituciones del estado, los cuerpos policiales, las empresas que destruyen la naturaleza y las vías de comunicación base del funcionamiento de la sociedad mercantil. Esta no será la ultima vez que salgamos a las calles, en otras ocasiones nos veremos el rostro frente a frente, cara a cara con el enemigo.

La SGAE prepara el terreno para ir contra los blogs

¿Cómo define 'blog' la SGAE? Como "un diario o revista que se publica en Internet", para añadir que "a menudo se utilizan para publicar enlaces a archivos, que pueden ser copias ilegales de música, películas u otros ficheros multimedia". La blogosfera no ha ahorrado en críticas a la definición de blog de un folleto de la SGAE que viene a conectar a los blogueros con la piratería en Internet. Es incorrecta, tendenciosa y no se ajusta para nada a la realidad.


Dicha definición de blog aparece en el glosario de la guía para el buen uso de Internet que se quiere distribuir en los centros escolares de España. Bajo el título 'Música, cine e Internet. Guía para padres y profesores' esta publicación (PDF) pretende promocionar una navegación responsable y segura de los menores en la Red.


La autora de este folleto de ocho páginas en el que se dan consejos sobre responsabilidad en Internet es una ONG británica llamada Childnet International. Figuran como colaboradores españoles, además de la SGAE, Promusicae y la Federación para la protección de la propiedad intelectual.


El periodista y blogger Manuel Almeida ha sido de los primeros en expresar su oposición a la definición de la guía en su propia bitácora, Mangas Verdes. Almeida dice haber "escuchado y leído muchos disparates acerca de los blogs, pero desde luego nada tan grave, tendencioso, ‘pornográfico’ y peligroso como esta soflama que no resiste el más mínimo contraste con la realidad". Además, lamenta que esa sea la idea de los blogs que se pretende enseñar en las escuelas

WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

We have never paid too much attention to the media lynching and police repression which for years has targeted the anarchists and visitors of the documentation center Fuoriluogo, not only because we know that anyone in Bologna fighting and opposing the injustices of this system undergoes the same treatment (daily control stops, wiretaps, searches and arrests), but also because despite a stick-in-the-wheels we have always preferred to continue on our way, with our initiatives and the libertarian spirit that animates us.

But sometimes enough is enough.

On April 6th, the police made an incredible start to a political and legal frame-up for the alleged crime of “criminal association with subversive purposes against the democratic order” against some thirty anarchist and non-anarchist frequenters of Fuoriluogo, on whom were imposed precautionary measures of various kinds: prison for five of them, considered as organizers and promoters of the phantom Association, and house arrests for another 7.

It is one of many frame-ups aimed to attack the most diverse forms of organization between individuals and therefore their social struggles.
It is a vile frame-up with which they try to tear away not only the spaces but also the energy of all those who express a real hostility toward the world.
It is a vile frame-up that shows once again the tendency of this society to build a system through which they want to demolish all the experiences of self-organization and self-management and also a future in which a workers’ strike may be considered subversive.

The political frame-up is not enough to place a leash on us or on social struggles. We will continue to say that the C.I.E. are concentration camps, the prisons are a tool of exploitation, the soldiers and the army are mercenaries and war is nothing but a criminal mode of taking other countries’ resources.

The passion that drives us is stronger than any authority. Strengthen the struggle and solidarity.

Comunicato dal carcere di uno degli anarchici arrestati a Bologna il 6 aprile

QUANDO E’ TROPPO E’ TROPPO

Non abbiamo mai badato troppo al linciaggio mediatico e alla repressione poliziesca che da anni colpiscono gli anarchici e i frequentatori del centro di documentazione Fuoriluogo, non solo perché a Bologna sappiamo che chiunque lotta e si oppone alle ingiustizie di questo sistema subisce lo stesso trattamento (fermi, controlli quotidiani, intercettazioni, perquisizioni e arresti), bensì perché nonostante i bastoni fra le ruote abbiamo sempre preferito continuare per la nostra strada, con le nostre iniziative e con lo spirito libertario che ci anima.

Però quando è troppo è troppo.

Il 6 aprile la polizia ha fatto partire un’incredibile montatura politica e giuridica sul presunto reato di associazione a delinquere con finalità eversiva dell’ordine democratico ai danni di una trentina di frequentatori anarchici e non di Fuoriluogo, ai quali sono state imposte misure cautelari di vario genere: il carcere per 5 di loro, ritenuti organizzatori e promotori della fantomatica associazione, e obblighi/divieti di dimora per altri 7.

È una delle tante montature atte a colpire le più svariate forme di aggregazione fra individui e quindi le loro lotte sociali.

È una vile montatura con la quale si tenta di strappare non solo spazi ma anche energie a tutti quelli che esprimono una vera inimicizia verso questo mondo.

È una vile montatura che evidenzia ancora una volta la tendenza di questa società alla costruzione di un regime tramite il quale si vogliono demolire tutte le esperienze di autorganizzazione e autogestione e sotto il quale un domani anche uno sciopero dei lavoratori potrà essere considerato sovversivo.

Questa montatura politica non basta per mettere il guinzaglio né a noi né alle lotte sociali. Continueremo a dire che i C.I.E. sono dei lager, che le carceri sono uno strumento di sfruttamento, che i soldati sono mercenari e l’esercito e le guerre non sono altro che un modo criminale di sciacallare le risorse di altri paesi.

La passione che ci anima è più forte di ogni autorità. Rafforziamo la lotta e la solidarietà.

Counterterrorism Software Helps Cops Shine Light Into Terrorism’s Dark Corners

More than ever, law enforcement agencies are connecting to far flung sources of information in the fight against terrorism. Now Virginia’s i2 Group is offering police departments a new tool

The company is launching an open-source database on worldwide group-based violence that gives local law agents access to a massive, searchable pool of information on terrorist groups, organized crime, and militant organizations culled from foreign language papers, chat rooms, and other frequently walled-off sources. And it’s hoping to garner interest from fusion centers, inter-agency terrorism investigation and response centers favored by local law enforcement agencies because of the generous funding they receive from the federal government. Federal agencies generally support them because they give access to otherwise-unavailable intelligence from local police departments. Despite criticism of their potential for misuse and justified fears of civil liberties violations and data mining, fusion centers are a prominent part of the American counterterrorism landscape.

I2′s fusion center software suite includes an analysis tool called iBase and a related visualization tool called Analyst’s Notebook, and it makes use of an open source database from the Institute for the Study of Violent Groups. The institute bills itself as “[building] the most comprehensive unclassified database on group-based violence worldwide” and is based at Connecticut’s University of New Haven. The ISVG’s database collects information from public sources on the actions and capabilities of groups ranging from Mexican drug gangs to Nigeria’s Boko Haram terrorist organization. This information is then turned into proprietary products with advanced cross-linking and visualization capabilities for companies such as i2.

According to i2′s Chriss Knisley, “Fusion centers and law enforcement agencies are realizing the great value of open source data to enhance their analyses. For fusion center analysts, it’s about capturing that information in a meaningful way to help them solve crimes and prevent violent acts. By making the ISVG database easily available and analysis-ready as part of our fusion center solution, we’re adding the power of more than 120 open source collectors to every fusion center.”

Open source intelligence is turning into a primary tool for law enforcement agencies in general. Organizations such as the ISVG collect information that is easily available off the internet–but which cannot be sorted and translated at each individual organization or fusion center that uses their data. Information on Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia, for instance, can be collected from sources such as Beirut’s al-Akhbar newspaper or Hezbollah’s al-Manar satellite television station. Similarly, information on Maoist guerillas in India can be found on a variety of local-language newspapers and websites. Many fusion centers focus on activities such as fundraising for foreign militant groups in the United States, which often takes place among expatriate communities. While the information that open source intelligence collectors such as the ISVG distribute can be found freely elsewhere, their partners and clients save significant manpower hours by using them as the middlemen.

Knisley noted that “the data is tagged with dates, times, relationships and latitude/longitude information and processed [...] The results are returned as i2 analysis-ready data (entities, links and properties) and instantly visualized as link associations, temporal patterns and geospatial relationships, allowing analysts to quickly see how groups, individuals, incidents and motivations are related to each other across geographic jurisdictions.”

While fusion centers are a primarily American institution, i2 sells a significant portion of their products–and, by extension, American-compiled counter-terrorism information–around the world. Knisley noted that the firm exports versions of their software in 14 different languages, including Russian, Arabic and Chinese. I2′s best known products, Analyst’s Notebook and COPLINK, are used by public and private sector clients in 150 countries. The exact products used in the fusion center software suite in the United States vary on a case-by-case basis.

Fusion centers have spawned a rich cottage industry of their own, complete with conferences and conventions. According to the Department of Homeland Security, more than 70 fusion centers have already been founded in the United States.

Gruppo Surrealista di Chicago - I tre giorni che hanno sconvolto il Nuovo Ordine Mondiale: la sommossa di Los Angeles del 1992

Alle ore 17.30 di mercoledì 30 aprile 1992, per le strade di Los Angeles, scoppia una sommossa anti-poliziesca che in poco più di tre giorni provocherà 58 morti, 2.383 feriti, 5.383 incendi, 15mila arresti e danni per 785 milioni di dollari. Due ore prima dell'inizio degli scontri, in un'aula del tribunale di Simi Valley, era avvenuta la lettura della sentenza di assoluzione per quattro poliziotti del dipartimento di polizia di Los Angeles accusati di aver brutalmente picchiato nel marzo del 1991 l'automobilista nero Rodney King.
Vecchio episodio di uno squallido serial (la storia del regime capitalista più degenerato della terra), la rivolta di L.A. ha rappresentato l'ennesima picconata al sogno americano, a quell'immagine di paese felice, libero e democratico che gli U.s.a. cercano disperatamente di esportare da decenni (senza riuscirci granché, per la verità).
L'opuscolo, ad opera del fantomatico Gruppo Surrealista di Chicago, pubblicato nel 1993, carica i riots di suggestioni politiche e libertarie senza tralasciare gli aspetti più "scomodi" della questione. In effetti, la sommossa portò con sé un'onda di immane violenza perpetrata ai danni di alcune minoranze (i coreani, ad esempio), dettata da logiche del tutto soggettivistiche, ad un impeto di giustizia che, per forza di cose, si fece sommaria.
D'altronde: "Sarebbe assurdo credere che quanti sono stati privati, nel corso della loro intera esistenza, della facoltà di volere, allorquando si trovino in modo inatteso e improvviso liberati dai loro ceppi, si muovano immediatamente con la grazia propria di un ballerino". "Ciò che è importante non è la mera condanna della brutalità degli insorti, ma collocare tali eccessi nel contesto della più ampia brutalità che è evento quotidiano nelle città statunitensi". Il consiglio è quello di soffermarsi "...sulla gioia e sulla sensazione di essere nel pieno diritto dipinte sui volti dei giovani poveri neri e latino-americani nel confiscare proprietà e nel distruggere ciò che molti consideravano come simboli del dominio [...] In questa gioia e in questa sensazione di trovarsi nel giusto alberga il solo futuro che valga la pena di sognare".
La volontà da parte degli autori di uscire dai confini delle mera cronaca è evidente nel finale eco-radicale che inquadra i fatti in un contesto critico molto più ampio, individuando la scaturigine della rivolta nell'alterazione generale degli equilibri del pianeta, operata dal delirio capitalista: "...un vasto risanamento dell'ambiente naturale è oggi una priorità, e tale ripristino richiede un radicale smantellamento delle mortifere città della società industriale". La descrizione del teatro degli scontri restituisce un'immagine molto lontana dalla concezione classica (e tipicamente europea) di città, alla quale sicuramente dovremo abituarci: Los Angeles appare come un unico sterminato sobborgo, senza centro e periferia, popolato da identità differenti e inconciliabili, animato da individui sradicati che con l'ambiente urbano hanno un rapporto meramente economico e funzionale.
Monito finale: "Qualunque rivoluzione che si accontenti di qualcosa di meno rispetto all'attuazione della poesia nella vita quotidiana è una rivoluzione priva di prospettive ancor prima di iniziare".
