Mexico: False bomb found in Mexico City campaign office of presidential candidate

April 3: A false explosive device that arrived by courier to the campaign house of the PAN [National Action Party] presidential candidate Josefina Vázquez Mota last night mobilized the special group Taskforce of the capitol city Police.

According to press reports on websites, at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, personnel from a private security company in charge of guarding the facilities received a package that when scanned was detected to contain some batteries and apparently cables, therefore the Mexico City Secretary of Public Security was promptly alerted.

After some time it was confirmed that it was a false bomb.
