11th April. A call to the NO TAV movement
After the terrible day of 27th February, when one of us risked his life for trying to block the enlargement of the fortress of Maddalena, the multiplying of marches, blockades of roads, highways, harbours and railways in dozens and dozens of small and big Italian cities gave us strength in our resistance on the highway. On that occasion we realized that the government and all the parties supporting the TAV were in difficulty, in spite of the thousands of armed men they deployed. Cracks in their criminalization propaganda opened up, and possibilities of struggle accessible to everyone also opened up everywhere.



On 27th February not only did they put the life of one of us at risk, they also occupied yet another piece of land, fenced it with nets, jersey and barbed wire.

On 11th April they want this occupation to become legal.

On that day landowners will be summoned in order to go ahead with the ‘temporary’ occupation of the lands. Owners will be able to enter the war fortress only one by one: if no one is there they will go ahead anyway. What counts for them is to give a facade of legality to the violent imposition of a big and useless work. Starting from that day, companies will be able to start working for real.



This time too the NO TAV will be there. We’ll be there and in every place where it is possible to block the machinery of military occupation.

We are making a call so that on that day and throughout the week, which we want it to be a week of popular NO TAV struggle, you support us. We need the solidarity network that supported us in February to become even stronger.

We are not asking you to come over here, even if anyone would be welcome as always, we are asking you to struggle in your cities and towns.

We are asking you to spread resistance.

11 Aprile. Appello dal movimento No Tav

Dopo la terribile giornata del 27 febbraio, quando uno di noi ha rischiato di morire per aver tentato di intralciare l’allargamento del fortino della Maddalena, il moltiplicarsi dei cortei, dei blocchi di strade, autostrade, porti e ferrovie, in decine e decine di grandi e piccole città italiane ci ha dato forza nella nostra resistenza sull’autostrada.
In quell’occasione abbiamo capito che, nonostante le migliaia di uomini in armi, il governo e tutti i partiti Si Tav erano in difficoltà. Si sono aperte delle falle nella propaganda di criminalizzazione, si sono aperte possibilità di lotta accessibili a tutti ovunque.

Il 27 febbraio non si sono limitati a mettere a repentaglio la vita di uno dei noi, hanno occupato un altro pezzo di terra, l’hanno cintata con reti, jersey, filo spinato.

Il prossimo mercoledì 11 aprile vogliono che l’occupazione diventi legale.
Quel giorno hanno convocato i proprietari per la procedura di occupazione “temporanea” dei terreni. Potranno entrare nel fortino fortificato come guerra solo uno alla volta: se qualcuno non si presenta procederanno comunque. L’importante è dare una patina di legalità all’imposizione violenta di una grande opera inutile. Da quel giorno le ditte potranno cominciare davvero i lavori.

I No Tav anche questa volta ci saranno. Saremo lì e saremo ovunque sia possibile inceppare la macchina dell’occupazione militare.

Facciamo appello perché quel giorno e per tutta la settimana, che promoviamo come settimana di lotta popolare No Tav, ci diate appoggio. Abbiamo bisogno che la rete di solidarietà spontanea che ci ha sostenuto in febbraio, diventi ancora più fitta e più forte.

Non vi chiediamo di venire qui, anche se tutti sono come sempre benvenuti, vi chiediamo di lottare nelle vostre città e paesi.

Vi chiediamo di diffondere la resistenza.
