We are your children, your brothers and sisters, your neighbours. People who serve you coffee at the table, wait the bus with you, and confess to be tired after eight hours of work beside you.

We’re just people… with blood in our veins. We’re not terrorists, we don’t destroy the world or profit from death. On the contrary, we revolt against those who impose terror on the poor and the workers. We attack those who manipulate our lives and exploit and destroy our planet, yet still have the nerve to present themselves in the mass media as good and reliable people. That’ why they consider us a threat and use the means they control to make you believe the same…

Because of our radical love for freedom, it’s not enough for us to protest peacefully while the bankers rob us of our money, the cops laugh in our face when they beat us and the State calls us maggots, protected in its comfortable palace of gold and hypocrisy.

We’re just people… but with spine! We don’t want you to vote for us or anyone else, we don’t wish to make money from politics or to enforce our ideals. We don’t want to be anyone’s masters or anyone’s slaves. We stand shoulder to shoulder with those who want to fight for a dignified, free and solidarian life.

After all, we’re just people, but those that are willing to risk, those that are willing to build, those that are willing to take to the streets and cover their face so we can all put ourselves on the line.

Setúbal, Portugal: Manifestación anticapitalista y antiautoritaria, el primero de mayo

Somos tus hijxs, tu hermanxs, tu vecinxs. Personas que te sirven el café a la mesa, que esperan contigo el autobús, que te confiesan que están cansadxs después de ocho horas de trabajo a tu lado…

Somos solo personas… ¡con sangre en las venas! No somos terroristas, no queremos destruir el mundo, ni nos queremos lucrar con la muerte. Al contrario, nos rebelamos contra los que imponen el terror sobre lxs pobres y lxs trabajadorxs. Atacamos a quien manipula nuestras vidas, a quien explota y destruye nuestro planeta y, aun así, tiene la desvergüenza de aparecer en los medios como si fuera buena gente y de confianza. Es por eso que nos consideran una amenaza y usan los medios que controlan para hacerte creer lo mismo…

Es debido al amor radical que tenemos por la libertad por lo que no nos basta con manifestarnos pacíficamente, mientras que los banqueros nos roban el dinero, la policía se ríe mientras nos pega, y el Estado nos llama quejicas, protegidos en su confortable palacio de oro e hipocresía.

Somos solo personas… ¡que no se arrodillan! No queremos que votes, ni a nosotrxs ni a nadie, ni queremos ganar dinero con la política, ni imponerte nuestros ideales. No queremos ser jefes de nadie, ni esclavxs de nadie. Queremos estar hombro con hombro con aquellxs que quieren luchar por una vida digna, libre y solidaria.

A fin de cuentas, somos solo personas, pero de esas que están dispuestas a arriesgar, de esas que están dispuestas a construir, de esas que están dispuestas a salir a la calle y taparse el rostro, ¡para que todxs podamos dar la cara!

Menschen, die das Meer nicht fürchten, haben keine Angst zu kämpfen

Wir sind eure Kinder, eure Brüder und Schwestern, eure Nachbarn. Menschen, die euch den Kaffee an den Tisch servieren, die mit euch auf den Bus warten und gestehen, nach acht Stunden Arbeit müde neben euch zu stehen. Wir sind nur Menschen… mit Blut in unseren Venen. Wir sind keine Terroristen, wir zerstören nicht die Welt oder profitieren vom Tod. Im Gegenteil: Wir rebellieren gegen jene, die gegen die Armen und die ArbeiterInnen Terror auferlegen. Wir greifen jene an, die unser Leben manipulieren und ausbeuten und den Planeten zerstören wollen und sich selbst trotzdem in den Massenmedien als gute und vertrauenswürdige Menschen darstellen. Deshalb sehen sie uns als eine Bedrohung an und nutzen geeigneten Mittel, um zu kontrollieren, dass du an das gleiche glaubst.

Aufgrund unserer radikalen Liebe zur Freiheit ist es für uns nicht genug, friedlich zu demonstrieren während BänkerInnen unser Geld klauen, Cops uns ins Gesicht lachen, wenn sie uns verprügeln und der Staat – geschützt in Palästen aus Gold und Heuchelei – uns als Maden bezeichnet.

Wir sind nur Menschen… aber mit Rückgrat! Wir wollen nicht, dass ihr für uns oder irgendjemand anderes wählt, wir wollen kein Geld durch die Politik machen oder unsere Ideale durch sie durchsetzen. Wir wollen weder Meister noch Sklave von irgendjemandem sein. Wir stehen Schulter an Schulter mit jenen, die für ein würdiges, freies und solidarisches Leben kämpfen wollen.

Am Ende sind wir nur Menschen, aber jene, die bereit sind, etwas zu riskieren; jene, die etwas aufbauen wollen; jene, die willens sind, auf die Straße zu gehen und ihre Gesichter verhüllen, damit wir uns alle auf derselben Linie wiederfinden.
