Four businesses receive smashed windows overnight — Bellingham, WA

Four businesses were targeted by vandals in Bellingham over the weekend.

Bellingham Police spokesman Mark Young says windows were found shattered at three businesses all in the 1600 block of State Street Saturday morning.

“Quality Rentals, Cascade Vocational Services and Erickson Interiors all sustained damage to their windows, most likely due to a rock,” he said.

The stores suffered a combined $1,300 in damage.

Then on Sunday night, Young says a witness reported hearing a window smashed at 99 Cent Max on Birchwood Avenue.

That caused about $1,000 in damage.

Police were not able to locate a suspect.
