Arrests and house searches in Helsinki, solidarity demo Tuesday 2.8.

On Monday morning 2nd of August the cops made two home searches and arrested six persons. Three of them were let out during the day and three are still in custody. The arrests are apparently related to the actions in solidarity with social center Satama this spring. The police declined to give more detailed information during Monday night, referring to office hours.

On Tuesday morning we'll hold a solidarity demonstration starting at twelve o'clock. outside Tikkurila police station in Vantaa (Kielotie 4, close to Tikkurila railway station). Bring along megaphones and other noisy items to cheer up the arrestees!
