SOLIDARITY ACTION FOR PRISONER JEREMY HAMMOND

We call on all NYC-metro anarchists to come out and show support for Jeremy Hammond who's being arraigned on Monday, May 14th, 12PM at the U.S. Federal Courthouse, 500 Pearl St., New York, NY 10038, in courtroom 12A. Jeremy Hammond is a 27-year-old activist currently being held in pre-trial detention at a federal prison in New York. Jeremy and his four co-defendants who are currently awaiting extradition from the UK, are accused of hacking Stratfor, HBGary, and the Arizona Department of Public Safety known for its racist immigration policies. Stratfor and HBGary are private spy agencies who work for the FBI, DHS, CIA, local police agencies, Dow Chemical Industries, Bank of America and Boeing among other murderous profiteers complicit in the capitalist oppression of people and destruction of the earth. Stratfor was also involved in orchestrating the takedown of WikiLeaks, the spying on Bhopal disaster activists, and the infiltration of Occupy Austin.
Jeremy came to the attention of the Federal Government after the FBI secretly arrested Hector Monsegur (AKA Sabu), a leading Lulzsec member turned informant. If convicted, Hammond potentially faces decades in prison.
Jeremy Hammond is part of a growing world-wide movement of political activists who utilize advanced technologies to accomplish their political goals of disseminating information, holding governments, law enforcement, individuals and corporations accountable for their misdeeds, and mobilizing real-world global protest.
