Protesters set large fire during May Day demonstration — Vancouver, Canada

Vancouver’s May Day rally took a turn for the worse as protestors set a large fire in the middle of Commercial Drive and Charles Street late Tuesday.
Riot police ordered the assembly to disperse after 40 to 50 protestors — some donning black masks — lit a fire near the intersection.
One person was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer, according to emergency services.
