Vicente Ruiz, del Grupo Cultural de Estudios Sociales de Melbourne, nos envía este libro en inglés, regado de excelentes fotografías y de gran valor histórico y sentimental para el anarquismo, en el que ha participado activamente (36 págs).
Vicente es hijo del también anarquista Vicente Ruiz Gutiérrez que ocupó distintos cargos de la CNT antes y durante la guerra. En 1939 tuvo que partir al exilio alcanzando la costa africana, época en la que nació su hijo  Vicente. Tras años en Argelia y Marruecos, emigraron hasta Australia en 1965 manteniéndose, padre e hijo, en todo momento involucrados en el movimiento libertario español en el exilio mediante la participación en diversas publicaciones y la creación de distintas iniciativas de corte anarquista.

Although somewhat ironic and at the opposite extreme of the ideological pendulum, during our endeavours to trace the earliest arrival of Spanish Anarchists to the Australian continent, we uncovered two of the earlier Spanish immigrants to settle on Australian soil dating back to the 5th of January 1846, this being the date the “Isabella”, the ship upon which they were passengers anchored in the Bay of Freemantle, following a journey which lasted more than 113 days...
