from liberaciontotal, transl waronsociety:
On Friday April 27, at 5 months since the beginning of the political trial, the prosecution finished presenting the evidence that intends to bury the comrades in prison. [WOS note: we are translating the summary of the last 2 weeks of the prosecution's evidence and will be posting it shortly.]
After 100 days of hearings in which they presented 128 witnesses (almost all police) and more than 40 experts, adding a series of evidence such as: remains of metallic containers in the areas of the attacks, books and posters from the particular residences, clothes, among other things. During all these days they did not present the “faceless witnesses” although in some cases they made constant allusion to their fantastical statements.
On Wednesday, May 2, 2012 the defense begins to present their evidence, witnesses and experts which will be considerably less than the prosecution’s presentation. Then there will come the so-called “closing arguments” where the parties (prosecution, complainants and defense) will make a synthesis and reaffirm their theses. After that the judges will dictate sentencing against the accused.
