Chile: The Bombs Case trial continues

from the press, transl waronsociety:
Today the hearing the Court of Appeals was held in which they tried to annul the Bombs Case trial by dismissing the judges who were carrying out the case.
The Third Courtroom of the Court decided that the three questioned by the Public Ministry and by the Ministry of the Interior [the prosecution] for a supposed partiality will continue in their responsibilities, without accepting the accusation that they had previously presented. The Prosecution’s reasons for trying to discredit the trial had to do with the dismissal of a large quantity of the evidence, which according to them were of great importance to the investigation and subsequent accusation.
All this happened when at the time the Minister of the Interior, Rodrigo Hinzpeter, was about to be brought to testify.
Also, the Court set a fine for the plaintiffs.
