Burning cars and crow's feet in front of copstations Berlin 27th of march2011

Left-autonomen again attacked the police. One car got torched and „crow's feet“ were left in front of the copstation 12. Investigators asume a „warm-up“ just before the first of may.
In between 2 days obviously leftextremists committed attacks to hit and brusque the police of Berlin. After a car just got torched in the night to saturday right in front of the headquarters of the police president Dieter Glietsch at Platz der Luftbrücke in Tempelhof, unknowns know demaged 7 copcars in Reinickendorf.

In the night to sunday unknown offenders left so called crow's feet in front of the parkin entrance of the police station 12 on Am Nordgraben in Wittenau. 6 small cars of the station and 1 car of the riotpolice got demaged.
The air of the tires went out slowly, so the officers didnt recognized it right after they left their parking spot. After they recognized the flat tires they searched the parking entrance, found several more crows feet and saved them for investigations. The demage that came up cant be estimated yet. Persons didnt got injured.
Investigators dont exclude that the left scene already starts their „warm-up“ almost 4 weeks before the first of may. „ Paint and arson attacks against policecars and the securityoffice have been committed already in the past before this sensitive date. That already now such offences happen is not a good sign for the upcoming first of may.“ an investigator says.
Security-experts anyway believe that the first of may 2011 is not going to be so easy comparing to the last years. Scene-experienced cops say that the reasons for the mobilization of the left scene and for sympathisisers who are less violent are the „wishi-washi“-politics of the government in relation to nuclear energy. Aswell the renforced engagement of the german army in Afghanistan and the occurences in Japan could function for violent groups to make Berlin again a spot of riots.
