Almost a dozen arrested during anti-police brutality march

Nearly 12 protesters from a group of about 30 have been arrested in the South Park Blocks Thursday night during an apparent anti-police brutality protest.

A flier posted on portland.indymedia.org from an unidentified group asked people to gather at 7 p.m. in the South Park Blocks to "march against corruption."

The flier claims that those who are oppressed are in a fight against corrupt institutions and blames the police and the military for protecting those institutions.
