OCTOBER 19th: EVERYONE TO THE STREETS!

‘Against violence, wherever it comes from’: a phrase that we often hear from Adonis Georgiadis, as much as from someone who belongs to the political left, or a householder who happens to have alleged progressive ideas and occasionally takes to the streets during a strike.

We will refer only slightly to a perception often met in numerous strike demonstrations; to the notion which pretty much says ‘no provocation should take place, no clash, this can damage only us, and the movement will step backward,’ etc.; a perception which can mainly be found in a large part of the reformist sold-out left of the regime.

But in reality this view merely benefits the State. Because as many as the demonstrators may be, if the State sees people in the streets resigning behind a loudspeaker or asking everyone to calm down when cops provoke the crowd, then it knows that these people are self-controlled and cannot cause any problem.

A spontaneous massive movement is what scares the State or, in a massive strike, whether this crowd can become uncontrollable, confrontational and disturb the peace, order and safety which they seek as existent and try to impose.

They’re not scared of any pacifist demonstration, any peaceful protest, as massive as it may be; that’s why the State itself praises these events (as it happened i.e. in the strike of May 20th, 2010, which was clearly a peaceful, if not an anti-violent demonstration; back then everyone, the ministers, the Prime Minister Papandreou and others, spoke bullshit to the corporate media praising the demonstrators and saying that each strike should be similar, and such nonsense). They’re really frightened of clashes, disturbance of normality, attacks on state and capitalist targets, because such actions cause them an immediate problem.

Of course we’re not fooled, nor do we live in our own private world. Obviously we don’t believe that if we choose to attack two or three targets in a general strike, the revolution will come. But we do believe that we owe to counter-attack those who wish to control our lives; those who dare to think that we exist just to be their slaves. Against those who devastate and steal our lives from us, against the oppression and barbarity of everyday life in capitalism, against the violence which we suffer daily from the State and the bosses, the least we can do is to counter-attack violently.

To spoil the plans of those who think that this day will be a simple strike stroll in the city centre; those who will seek a pacifist march.

On October 19th, let’s give a violent response to those who want us to live our entire lives as slaves so that a bunch of people eat with golden spoons and their rotten system survives.

Vamos a contra-atacar.
Vamos a intervenir en el festín de lxs jefes de los sindicatos vendidos
y promover las características combativas en la manifestación.

“Contra la violencia, de donde venga”: una frase que hemos escuchado de Adonis Georgiadis, tanto como cualquiera que pertenece a la izquierda política, o como cabeza de familia que pasa a tener presuntas ideas progresivas y ocasionalmente arriban a las calles durante huelgas.

Nos referimos solamente a una pequeña percepción después de coincidir a menudo en numerosas huelgas; a la noción donde mucho se dice “tomará lugar no provocar, no a los choques, esto solamente puede dañarnos y haría retroceder al movimiento” etc.; una percepción que se puede encontrar en una gran parte de los reformistas izquierdosxs vendidxs del régimen.

Pero en realidad este punto solamente beneficia al Estado. Porque marca como muchxs de lxs manifestantes deberían de ser, si el Estado ve a las personas en las calles resignadas detras de un megáfono o pidiéndole a todxs que se calmen en cuanto lxs policías provocan a la multitud, entonces sabe que esas personas se auto-controlan y no podrán causar ningún problema.

Un movimiento masivo espontáneo es lo que asusta al Estado o, en una huelga masiva, si esta multitud se vuelve incontrolable, confrontativa y disturba la paz, el orden y la seguridad que ellxs buscan como existente y tratan de imponer.

Ellxs no están asustados de ninguna manifestación pacífica, cualquier protesta pacífica, aun tan masiva como pueda ser; es por esto que el propio Estado alaba estos eventos (como pasó, p.e. en la huelga del 20 de Mayo de 2010, que claramente fue pacífica, sino una manifestación anti-violenta; entonces todo el mundo, lxs ministrxs, el primer ministro Papandreou y otrxs, hablaron mentiras a los medios corporativos alabando a lxs manifestantes diciendo que cada huelga debería ser similar, y así, sin sentido). Ellxs están realmente espantadxs a los choques, el disturbar la normalidad, ataques a objetivos del Estado y capitalistas, porque este tipo de acciones les causan un problema inmediato.

Por supuesto no somos tontxs, ni vivimos en nuestro propio mundo privado. Obviamente no creemos que si decidimos atacar dos o tres objetivos en una huelga general, la revolución vendrá. Pero creemos que debemos contra-atacar a aquellxs que desean controlar nuestras vidas; aquellxs que se atreven a pensar que existimos solamente para ser sus esclavxs. Contra aquellxs que devastan y roban nuestras vidas de nosotrxs, contra la opresión y la barbarie de cada día de vida en el capitalismo, contra la violencia que sufrimos diario del Estado y lxs patronxs, lo menos que podemos hacer es contra-atacar violentamente.

Para echar a perder los planes de aquellxs que creen que este día será de una simple huelga-paseo por el centro de la ciudad; aquellxs que buscarán una marcha pacífica.

Este 19 de Octubre, démosles una violenta respuesta a aquellxs que buscan que vivamos toda nuestra vida como esclavxs mientras un montón de gente come en cucharas de oro y su podrido sistema sobrevive.
