Eleven vehicles belonging to City Hall employees vandalized — Flagstaff, AZ

Eleven vehicles, including Flagstaff Mayor Sara Presler’s Dodge Ram pickup truck, were vandalized sometime between when City Hall closed Friday night and Saturday morning. Only one of the vehicles didn’t belong to a city employee.

Most of the damage consisted of broken glass and damaged hoods. The windshield of Presler’s truck was shattered.

The initial call only reported damage to the mayor’s personal vehicle, but when officers arrived they noticed a number of other vehicles in the parking lot also had been vandalized.

One of the potential instruments used to break the windows was recovered and is being tested, according to police officials.

A police department press release referred to the vandalism as “senseless acts of criminal damage.”
