Bank Robbery on Capitol Hill

On July 6th at approximately 4:53 p.m. officers responded to a bank robbery in the 130 block of Broadway Avenue East. Preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. After getting a bag from the teller, the suspect fled the scene on foot. He was last seen walking eastbound on Broadway Avenue East.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30′s, 5’9″ tall, heavy build, no facial hair with a tan complexion wearing sunglasses, a black NY Yankees baseball cap, black t-shirt, tan shorts, black shoes with white laces and white trim, and carrying green grocery sacks.

Officers conducted an extensive area search for the suspect however, he remains at large.
