LIEBIG14 EVICTED - RIOT IN BERLIN

Today one of the oldest squats in Berlin was evicted. More than 1000 riot cops as well as heavy police cars where deployed. Netherless riots broke out around the squat. The police are still trying to get into the house. Berlin, Germany. 02/02/2011.
Today one of the oldest squats in the center of Berlin was evicted. The sqaut was squatted in the 1990s.
More than 1.000 Riot Cops as well as heavy Police cars like water-guns and armored police vehicles where deployed.
Netherless riots and protest broke out in the streets around the squat at the LIebigstrasse 14. Several houndred left winged activists had fights with Riot-Cops, several people where heavily wounded or arrested. Also Journalists got attacked by police forces.
It is for the Journalists forbidden to take photos directly at the squat - one police leader shouted at Press Photographer :"There is no fucking freedom of press today!".
There will be two more big demonstrations this afternoon as well as at 7 pm. Several thousand left winged activists are awaited - and the police will deploy 2.000 riot cops fot the demonstrations.
