A thief broke into a Jewelry store last Wednesday morning and grabbed over $10,000 worth of white gold wedding bands and silver bracelets.
The break and entry at a jewelry store on 15th Avenue in Prince George occurred about 5:20 am, setting off an alarm alerting local RCMP.
A video surveillance camera recorded a male suspect who arrived on his bike and threw two interlock bricks through the bottom door window pane. Once inside the store, the suspect broke into the display case, poured its contents into a black backpack and fled on his bike.
The suspect is described as about six feet tall, medium build, wearing a black balaclava, black jacket, black track pants with white stripes down the side (Adidas style) and white running shoes.
