Hardcore Naxalite arrested

Motihari, Dec 1 (PTI) A hardcore Naxalite was arrested from Bara Bishunpur village in Bihar’s East Champaran district. Acting on a tip off, the police apprehended Vijay Prasad, while he was going somewhere on a bike, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ganesh Kumar said. Prasad, a native of Paigambarpur village under Siwaypatti police station area in Muzaffarpur district, was wanted in several cases of murder, arson at mobile towers and other naxal activities.
