Que el miedo cambie de campo

Nos aterrorizan para ponernos a unos contra otros, autóctonos contra extranjeros, inmigrantes regulares contra irregulares.

Nos aterrorizan obligando a muchos de nosotros a emigrar en busca de condiciones de vida menos odiosas.

Nos aterrorizan obligando a muchos de nosotros a la clandestinidad: con la policía a la espalda y con el miedo de las expulsiones, el Estado y los patrones empujan a millares de individuos a la sombra, haciéndoles aún más dóciles a la explotación.

Nos aterrorizan con el chantaje del trabajo asalariado: o te vendes a un patrón, o te mueres de hambre.

Nos aterrorizan con la imagen del Extranjero "bárbaro e integrista" para hacernos acpetar más restricciones, más controles, más precariedad; o bien para hacernos amar una identidad nacional vacía y falsa - si el capitalismo no reconoce fronteras, ¿porque deberían hacerlo los explotados?.

Nos aterrorizan con la policía en los barrios, con las rondas fascistas, con las redadas. La criminalidad, es el pretexto (en el fondo, ¿de donde surge la criminalidad, sino la necesidad del dinero?), el objetivo real es hacernos bajar la cabeza a todos.

Nos aterrorizan con la cárcel o con las expulsiones, con los cuarteles o los campos de internamiento para los clandestinos.

Cuanto más se odian los pobres, más engordan los ricos...

Nos aterrorizan haciéndonos creer que "terrorista" es quien lucha contra el Estado y contra los patrones, y no quien bombardea poblaciones enteras, coloniza las tierras y las mentes, y derriba las casas con las excavadoras.

Es hora de que el miedo cambie de campo.

Es hora de que del odio entre las "razas" se pase a la solidaridad de clase, a la guerra de los explotados contra los explotadoros.

THAT FEAR CHANGES IN THE FIELD

They terrorize us in order to turn us against each other, those born here against foreigners, documented immigrants against illegal immigrants.

They terrorize us, forcing many of us to live us undocumented aliens: with the police breathing down our neck and the fear of expulsion, the state and the masters push thousands of individuals into the shadows, rendering them even more docile for exploitation.

They terrorize us with the blackmail of wage labor: either sell yourself to a master or don’t eat.

They terrorize us with images of “barbarous and fundamentalist” Foreigners in order to make us accept more restrictions, more control, more precariousness; or else to make us love an empty and worthless national identity – if capitalism recognizes no borders, why ever should the exploited do so?

They terrorize us with police in the neighborhoods, with the fascist patrols, with the sweeps. The pretext is criminality (at bottom, what creates criminality if not the need for money?), but the real objective is to make everyone bow their heads.

They terrorize us with prison or expulsion, with the barracks or the lagers for the undocumented.

The more the poor hate each other, the fatter the rich grow.

They terrorize us by making us believe that the one who struggles against the state and the masters is the terrorist, and not the one who bombs entire populations, colonizes lands and minds, razes houses to the ground with bulldozers.

Now is the time that fear must change in the field.

Now is the time that the hatred between “races” must be replaced with class solidarity, the war of the exploited against the exploiters.
