ATTEMPTED ESCAPE FROM KORIDALLOS PRISONS, ATHENS 12/12/11

Around 6.45 this evening, P.Vlastos (a known underground figure accused of organizing kidnappings among other things) took some prison guards hostage in his attempt to escape. A few members of the C.C.F. (who are in Koridallos because of their trial there on thursday) also participated in the attempt. After the escape attempt failed, they started negotiating, while one of the comrades of the C.C.F. made a statement to the media that they participated in the escape attempt but do not want to negotiate with cops, but want to publicize the horrible conditions in Koridallos prison.
The comrade mentioned that five members of C.C.F. and Vlastos tried to escape during visiting hours.
Cops of all kinds surrounded the prison and closed off the inside in order for other prisoners not to find out and cause a generalized revolt.

In the early hours of 13/12/11 the “hostage situation”, as the media called it, ended.

Vlastos and the comrades released the remainder of the visitors and the people guards.

After the visitors left the prison, ending their long day, they had to deal with all sorts of cops harassing them and searching them, while interrogating them with the last demand, “do they want to press charges against the prisoners”… ! Of course they received the appropriate answer.

Comrade Christos Tsakalos said: “Today we tried to do something. To gain our freedom and the continuation of urban warfare. We lost a battle, but we have not lost the war and continue to fight to win. We are an organization that fights for the ideals of a free life without any authority. “

LIBERTA’! agli accusati per la partecipazione nell’O.R. Cospirazione delle Cellule di Fuoco

Attorno alle 18.45 questo pomeriggio-12 dicembre 2011-, PanagiotisVlastos (una conosciuta figura clandestina accusato dell’organizzazione di rapimenti tra le altre cose) ha preso in ostaggio alcuni carcerieri nel tentativo di scappare. Alcuni membri della C.C.F. (che sono a Koridallos per il loro processo là giovedì) hanno preso parte a questo tentativo. Dopo che il tentativo di fuga è fallito, hanno iniziato a negoziare, mentre uno dei compagni della C.C.F. ha fatto una dichiarazione ai media dicendo che hanno partecipato al tentativo di fuga ma che non volevano negoziare con gli sbirri e che volevano render pubbliche le orribili condizioni nella prigione Koridallos.

I compagni ha riferito che membri della C.C.F. e Vlastos hanno cercato di scappare durante l’orario di visita.

Sbirri di ogni genere hanno circondato la prigione e l’intero isolato per non farlo scoprire agli altri prigionieri e causare la rivolta generalizzata.

Nelle prime ore del 13/12/11 la “situazione ostaggio”, come l’hanno chiamata i media, è terminata.

Vlastos e i compagni hanno rilasciato il resto dei visitatori e le guardie.

Dopo che i visitatori hanno lasciato la prigione, finito la loro lunga giornata, se la sono dovuta vedere con ogni sorta di sbirri che li seccavano e cercavano, mentre chiedevano loro con l’ultima domanda se “volessero denunciare i prigionieri”…! Naturalmente hanno ricevuto una risposta appropriata.

Il compagno Christos Tsakalos ha detto: “Oggi abbiamo provato a fare qualcosa. Di guadagnare la nostra libertà ed il proseguimento della guerriglia urbana. Abbiamo perso una battaglia, ma non abbiamo perso la guerra e continueremo a lottare per vincerla. Siamo un’organizzazione che lotta per gli ideali di una vita libera e senza alcuna autorità.”
