Bilzen – Five shots fired at villa of a politician

The villa of a right-liberal politician and member of the town counsel Ed Somers was attacked with a fire gun this weekend. Around 3 AM, one or more persons approached the immense villa from the park, only accessible by foot. The video surveillance cameras didn't show images because the rifleman kept a safe distance. The Christian mayor already assured the closure of the park at night. « I'm a respected business man, I have no enemies. This is a pure act of vandalism » said the politician. The police takes the case serious but admitted having few traces and no motive.

Bilzen – Cinq coups de feu à la villa d'un politicien

La maison du politicien libéral et membre du conseil municipal Ed Somers a été attaquée avec une arme à feu ce week-end. Vers 3h du matin, une ou des personnes se sont approchées de l'immense villa au bord d'un parc, accessible seulement à pied. Les images de la caméra n'ont rien donné vu que le tireur s'est gardé à distance. Le bourgmestre chrétien a déjà assuré la fermeture du parc pendant la nuit. « Je suis un homme d'affaires respecté, je n'ai pas d'ennemis, c'est un pur acte de vandalisme » affirme le politicien. La police prend l'affaire au sérieux mais doit admettre qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de traces, ni un motif.
