Text by Stella Antoniou, arrested on 04.12.2010 (Case of 6), accused of involvement in an unknown terrorist organization, ... and of committing vague terrorist acts.

On 4/12/1910 I was arrested outside my house in Platonos Street in Kalithea, in which I was living with my partner Kostas Sakkas. They kept me for 3 days in detention without telling me why, did not allow a lawyer to me or to my co-defendants, we were kept 6 days in the cells of the 12th floor of the Athens police headquarters, with the light lit 24 hours a day, without windows, which negates the sense of time. When I refused to give fingerprints and a sample of DNA, I was stripped by force and my T-shirt stolen, apparently to get it.

Finally, on 10/12 detained in women's prison of Korydallos, Athens, as a member of an organization whose name and action neither I nor the prosecutors know. First, I would like to clarify that I do not recognize the term ''terrorist organization'' as assigned by the state to revolt. But I do clearly recognize a criminal organization, which in contrast to the “organization'' which they accuse me of, is named (DAEEB)(Response Directorate of Special Crimes of Violence ) and address (173 Alexandras Avenue), which knows very well that there can be no armed organization between 6 people who do not meet (as they even agree in the constructed file), let alone 6 people that do not know each other. I belong to the anarchist movement, and I'm proud of my participation and my action in it.

The state is making the imprisonment of anarchists a phenomenon of our time, whether they have enough, incomplete or no evidence, which is of no importance because I believe that no fighter should be imprisoned. But we are now being faced with constructed files and cases from the police, in cooperation with the Media and those who play the role of cops, talk about specific organizations that do not exist, etc. They baptize my house ''giafka Kallithea'' (Kallithea hideout) in the sense that when there is something ''illegal'' in a room, that space becomes a giafka. They talked about the dismantling of such and such an organization, which is related to another organization, and eventually, unfortunately for them, the weapons are ''clean'' and the organization has no name. They publish my personal letters, present various false physionomy profiles, giving me my role in this alleged organization. With grotesque titles like ''she paid for her love'' or ''love'' in the lair, they present an alleged personal drama, hoping to sell their gossip scandalmongering pages. They chose to highlight specific pieces of my statement ... adding words that I did not say ... without mentioning any trace of the political stigma that I gave to the questioning.

But the story does not end there. Then I had to face the false testimony of a female police officer from Kallithea police station, which reached me two weeks after being put on remand. The witness said that one or two days before arresting me ... I walked into the police stationKallithea, went to the department that leads to where the guns are stored (!), with the apparent aim of checking out the area, with an eye to a future theft of the weapons ... And here come the questions:

-Why did they allow me to penetrate a police station so easily?

-On what grounds did I decide to go with my face uncovered into a section of it and look for guns?!
-Don't police stations have cameras outside the building? Where is the recording from the camera showing me entering the police station?

Is this fact also a plan of the criminal organization DAEEB? (Response Directorate of Special Crimes of Violence )

I think that my prosecution, as well as that of other social fighters, amid socio-political instability which is now, given the economic crisis, part of state planning aiming to create a climate of fear and REAL TERRORISM. And this seems little compared to the long sustained action of the criminal clique that I mentioned: Turning their guns on 15 year old children, at people that don't stop at roadblocks, shooting fugitive comrades in the back, murdering militant fighters in cold blood.

At a time when the world's patience is exhausted and various parts of society have begun to act, power is ceasing to make even rudimentary excuses, culminating in imprisoning an anarchist comrade with the only ''aggravating'' evidence her mention that all these anarchists in prison are political prisoners! Thus depriving all of us of even the right to defend the most important part of our being, our political identity. They are trying to eliminate the most radical part of this society by constantly taking fighters hostage, believing that they can deny us what nobody can take from us:

THE PASSION FOR THE STRUGGLE, SOLITARITY, AND FREEDOM

NO FIGHTERS HOSTAGE OF THE STATE

FREEDOM FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CELLS

A call to a week of common actions to defend the Khimki hostages from the 2nd to the 9th of April 2011 Russia

We call everyone, who is not indifferent, in different cities and countries to show solidarity with persecuted brothers Denis and Maxim Solopov, and Alexey Gaskarov. They became hostages in the course of the unbelievable story with the Khimki forest, a story of confrontation between civil society in today’s Russia and a soulless junta of avaricious corrupters. Due to this situation, the city of Khimki in the Moscow suburbs has gained a reputation beyond the borders of Russia.

Alexey Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov spent three months in prison, due to a fabricated case, which is currently collapsing in court. Investigators used threats, torture and false witnesses from amongst police agents. On the 14th of april, there will be a new court session in the Khimki city court.

Denis Solopov is a young painter, who is currently jailed in the Lukyanovka prison (Remand prison №13) in Kiev, Ukraine, where prisoners are kept in inhumane conditions. For example, they sleep in three shifts due to overcrowding of the cells. Although Denis has been approved refugee status by the UNCHR, which proves that he has a concrete basis for his appeal, the Ukrainian migration service refused him asylum. Immediately after the denial, he was arrested, which means that the migration service of Ukraine exceeded their powers, hinting to local police that Denis was at their premises. The 40 day period of preliminary arrest of Denis is due to expire on the 11th of April, after which he should be either freed, or will be arrested for the whole duration of the extradition process, which could take up to 1.5 years.

All three young men are persecuted for the claimed participation in a demonstration against the clear-cutting of a forest in the way of a new Moscow-St. Peterburg toll highway, which resulted in insignificant damage to the Khimki city administration. The action was provoked by the fact, that a subcontractor of the highway construction had hired ultra-right activists to attack the protest camp of peaceful eco-activists. This toll highway, the construction of which will obstruct the development of the current Moscow-St. Petersburg road is necessary only for a narrow group of oligarchs, corrupt officials and the top-management of the French Vinci-corporation, which won the bid for the construction. Defenders of the forest and citizen activists in Khimki are regularly attacked and illegally persecuted. Two journalists and civic activists, Mikhail Beketov and Konstantiv Beketov were seriously crippled due to attacks against them.

In various parts of Russia and whole world people are fighting for their social rights, for their real freedom, and not just for the freedom of those in power to buy and to sell. Everywhere we see the danger of the transformation of our planet into a lifeless space, but those who reach for profit are not stopped by the nuclear disaster in Japan, not by the oil catastrophe in the gulf of Mexico, not by fires in the forests of the Moscow region. But when all of us, who believe that our world is not a good for sale, are united, we will be strong. Different people from various countries and cities (from the USA to China) have organised, two times already, international days of common action, which resulted in the release of Alexey and Maxim from under arrest and the halt of the clear-cutting of the forest. The construction of the toll highway was temporarily halted as well, and most definitely new networks were formed between non-indifferent people from all around the world, bypassing borders and distances.

We understand, that there is no way we can survive alone. This is why we ask everyone, who is not indifferent, to participate in a new week of actions from the 2nd to the 9th of April 2011. Organise actions at local embassies and consulates of Ukraine to demand the immediate release of Denis Solopov, actions at local embassies and consulates of Russia to demand that all charges against Alexey Gaskarov and Maxim Solopov be dropped and that the destruction of the Khimki forestbe halted. Organise actions against branches of the transnational Vinci corporation and demand a halt in the construction of the Moscow-St. Petersburg toll highway through the Khimki forest.

Our solidarity is our weapon!

We would like to ask you to please send us information about your solidarity actions, as well as copies of letters, faxes, and media publications to the email: spazialtri@autoproduzioni.net

Turin, Italy - Offices of Eni, accomplice of war and exploitation, stormed

informa-azione

Indymedia piemonte - 22/-3/2011 - at about nine o'clock in the morning, fifteen people stormed the offices of Eni in Course of Palermo, Turin.
Armed with a leaflet, a banner and a megaphone they recalled the role of Eni in Libya, first its collusion with Gaddafi and his suppression that ensured the exploitation of energy resources, then with the U.S., France, Great Britain, Canada and Italy coalition through their "humanitarian" aims to secure a good share of oil and gas in the near future. A clear answer to this: as long as we fail to convince you to poison yourselves with nuclear power it's open war to grab the remaining resources of the planet, in this case in the former colonies.
Then, blocking the traffic, they wrote with liquid chalk on the road in front of the building: "Eni accomplice of war and exploitation."
Needless to say, the agents of the Digos [political police] made their usual comic appearance. Rushed to the scene, they upset the bucket of chalk on to their clothes in an attempt to seize it from those holding it and then, furious, set off on a chase through Porta Palazzo. A few comrades were stopped and to the police station and after keeping them there for hours trying to make out a case to arrest them, however, they failed and had to set them all free.
Here is a passage from the leaflet:

"Neither the government nor the Eni have any problem "of conscience", and the Libyan events this month are a clear example. First Gaddafi was their best ally, the one with which to make those treaties of friendship in exchange for economic deals (including the entry of Eni in Libya) that enrich the exploiters from one side of the Mediterranean to the other, have sanctioned the 'externalization of the defense of the Italian border through Italo-Libyan joint patrols and the construction of detention centres for migrants which from all evidence are concentration camps where men and especially women are tortured. Now that the situation has precipitated the Italian government has [...] turned its back on an old ally and business partner, in order to ensure its presence in the country and its market share .[...] Eni: a guard dog with six legs, ready to change its owner to defend so as to preserve their bone made of gas and oil. "

On either side of the Mediterranean, against the exploiters and the side of the rebellion!
